Information about strongholds and the forest

I had wondered two things , does the forest get bigger?

I was under the impression that the boundary of a stronghold did, and given the problems of finding a space near the edge of the forest wondered what would happen if and when  they overlap.

Well I just got back to my neck of the woods, so to speak, to find someone is building a stronghold, and its over lapping the next one to it .

Inside an inactive player is on fire, and I am just on the outside ,so what is the deal with this situation, or if you find yourself in someone's  enclosure?

I see there are many examples of this around.

Also the boundary will now enclose  some fertile resource regeneration places ,though I have recently seen players ignoring a boundary and yielding inside, are these now off limits to other players as I had heard suggested they are?

no, a jungle doesn't not become bigger. In my K all territory around is occupied by SH. But rss locations can appear on the valley territory, so I don't think that it can damage to this.

The forest in my kingdom has an irregular edge, places where it is jagged, and places where it has a very long smooth edge, and  I have seen patches of trees spontaneously appear, so those are  the reasons I asked the question.

Still looking for the answer about  restrictions to resources inside the boundaries, and what happens if you find your town inside one

we do not allow other clans to far ress in our sh boundaries we will attack the player caught ress farming it.  this is a clan choice weather they adopt the rule or not as far as your town inside the boundry as long as you are shielded there is no one that can touch it unshielded you are fodder for the masses

If you are within the boundaries of a clan stronghold you can be expelled if there SH is upgraded high enough.

Yes so I believed , but note that there are lots of clan Strong Holds containing random  other towns.

The other point  that interested me was that the new stronghold I saw over laps another,so who has jurisdiction over the overlap?

I would think that the overlap would be either both or neither. I don't think one would have proirity over the other, but i'm just guessing.

The overlap is that both clans control that area. If you are sitting in the overlap you still get your Valley bonuses, but the neighboring clan could exile you since you sit in their Valley as well.

In my kingdom, we all RSS in each other's valleys as there are plenty of tiles to go around. Each clan is encouraged to farm their own SH, but if nobody claims it then it's fair game. It's better for the overall health of the kingdom if people can get what they need without the fear of a tile hit.  Outside of events tile hitting is for cowards and jerks.

It is interesting to see how other Kingdoms deal with of all kinds situations that may arise which may or may not be  what the designers had programmed for
