Bonus - Relocation of town to a selected place in the global map

The bonus item that allows the player to move his town to a selected place in the global map is flawed.

Player can just use it to move his town to a selected place next to his enemy clan's hive, attack and pillage the towns and then relocate to another place thereafter. He can do this the whole day attacking towns after towns by using the bonus item. He can buy many of them.

The game should restrict this usage of the relocation item to once in 5 days. So that player will not abuse the item's real purpose. If he chooses to relocate to a place in the global map, he should only be allowed to relocate to another place in 5 days time. If not, other players' town will be attacked easily and they will not enjoy the game anymore.

If this flaw in the game is not rectified, I don't think that many other players like myself will continue playing this game anymore.

Sorry to inform you, but this is not a flaw. The relocate function is by design. I don't see them ever changing it, most of the heavy hitters doing this are the players spending the most money. My sugestion would be to stay shielded, with the abundance of gold offered now that should be easy.

Then I think that it is a bad design that only allow paying players to abuse its real purpose. Most of the other online games restrict this relocation to a few days.

I find that it is no longer fun playing this game because we have to put up a shield all the time. And when our shield is up, we can't attack the enemy. If we attack the enemy, our shield will be down. Then we have to put up our shield again.to prevent being attacked again. How many times can we put up our shield and bring it down again with our gold?

And if we have to put up our shield all the times, how are we 'vikings' going to enjoy this game? Vikings don't shield themselves. Vikings attack and are never afraid to be attacked back. It has to be a fair attacking and defending games!

This could have been an enjoyable game!

Well seems you are "afraid" of being attacked by making your recommendation.  Anyways until you are strong enough and even after that you pretty much want to stay shielded ESPECIALLY if you are not online watching your town.  That was first thing I learned in game ... and that was back when we didn't get much gold from game.  Now there is no reason why people can't stay shielded ... you can win enough gold in game to stay shielded.  I suggest people buy the huge retreat coffers for 4100 gold that has a 3 day shield and a relocation and some other JUNK.

It is not about being afraid to being attacked. I welcome the attacks and die in my town. I can always heal my troops in my infirmary. And the attackers can resurrect his fallen. But don't allow paying cowards to hit and run to another place where I have to use my gold to relocate and attack the cowards back. This is not a fair attacking and defending game. It is a game that is fair for paying players only.

Hit my town, stay where you are and I will hit you back. If you relocate, stay there for 5 days and I will get to you. This isn't an unfair recommendation.

This has been a constant complaint ... it won't change ... change though I would like to see and maybe MIGHT be put in is that a town can't shield until it's troops get back to their town from an attack instead of that a town can shield right after they send attack out.

And even if you are paying and do relocate to them ... more than likely the person is shielded at the place they relocated except for a split second to launch an attack.

I have to agree that though the idea is clever, the continual ability to teleport is a bit of a pain, and  the counter to it,the so called Peace Shield is nothing of the sort, its just a force field.

Unfortunately I cant see them  modifying  or getting rid of either  of these things.

The owners of the game want to make money from it, so they invent things that make you part with your money , either directly or indirectly if you cannot acquire enough free gold to do the job.

However, depending on your circumstances, there are some strategies available that can make it of little value to attack you , though this will not stop players who think its fun to port around and have lots of spare cash to do it with
