Is it allowed to beam?

One day a player beamed out of nowhere near my castle, attacked and beamed away - of course with activating the peace-modus so I could not re-attack.

Is this really following the rules?

Hmmm, as I consider this as extremely unfair and unbalanced gameplay (you cannot make a strategy against this and remain helpless (except you invest money to keep your city in Peace-modus), I will definitely stop the game as soon as my gold that I bought, is spent. So I have to keep watching for another game.

Thank you for your answer

I've been thinking that the only real way to fight in this game is defensive.. and even that I'm not sure of yet.  basically keeping a large enough army in your town that is buffed with bonuses (knowledge buffs, hero buffs) so that you win landslide victories when people try to attack you.  Because relying on your own shield to protect you seems riskier than it should be.  Too easy for a shield to run out on you before you have a chance to come back on and refresh it (especially when you play in a browser on a desktop pc at home instead of a mobile device.. so you can only check in when you are home) and as I discovered the hard way during my first KvK event: even while you're shielded, people can still kill your guys on resource tiles.  But if you're guys are strong enough then hopefully the attacker gets a nasty bloody nose in the process.

But no matter what you do.. unless you started on day one, there will always be someone stronger than you out there able to burn through your defense.

People can decide themselves to play this game or not, only change I would really like to see is that people can't put a shield back up until their attacking troops return to their town.  Sending them out and then being able to immediately put up a shield while they are still marching to attack I'm not really liking or agreeing with that, but I deal with it because at this point I have to.  All and all I find the game worth playing.

it's a usual situation. I don't think that it's unfair because u can do the same or catch this guy when he's sending their march.

So if you spend enough money, you can speedbuild at the start and then

- 1. jump around the map to farm

- 2. hide behind your shield and build whatever you want

repeat steps 1 and 2 as you like .... but its not unfair, cause you spend money

but you can effectively grow with 5$ purchase... or without purchases at all. I have plays the game a long time like that way.
