If you are farming a tile with your hero and you are attacked on tile your lynx gear is in effect, also if you are defending the POP. And I usually always use my hero to farm tiles ... I wish I had a dozen of them ... lol ...

I have just read an old post where you asked much the same question.

The other player asked about reinforcing and pop which are the other not relevant items I mentioned.

I see the benefit of sending out the hero when collecting resources, but is Lynx the best gear to wear? Possibly not.

If you are being sensible and not sending out many troops to a tile, and the attacker can scout you, and send an overwhelming force. whatever the hero is wearing is surely going to be less significant.

I think I have answered my own question, its ok to use your free energy on invaders that you dont especially want,(at the moment) otherwise dont use purchased energy.

Save it for something more useful

I do not usually wear lynx out to farm ... I sometimes wear capacity and resource yielding equipment ... I have before put on a piece or two of lynx if I didn't have any capacity or resource yielding equipment for that "spot" and was a time I could be attacked. Also sometimes just wear the equipment I wear for hyperfarming when I am farming.

I do not believe that lynx gear is no longer applicable ... for people who buy a good amount yes there is better gear ... but for people who are not going to be spending much if anything then lynx gear is still something worth having. And for defending your town against both spy and troop attack it is also useful (if you have a large amount of troops).

Yes that is true but you still need lynx gear to protect your town to cover your scouts and any other troop types you may have that are not covered by your special gear.

do not believe that lynx gear is no longer applicable ... for people who buy a good amount yes there is better gear ... but for people who are not going to be spending much if anything then lynx gear do not believe that lynx gear is no longer applicable ... for people who buy a good amount yes there is better gear ... but for people who are not going to be spending much if anything then lynx gear is still something worth having.  And for defending your town against both spy and troop attack it is also useful (if you have a large amount of
