Mostly would depend on hero levels and where the hero skills are set ... and if your hero was with your troops when they got killed.  And if you lost the attack then you probably don't really know how many lvl 1 horses he sent at you.  Was there more blocks that had no pictures in them and ? as the number underneath next to the lvl 1 horses?

His hero is level 52 mine is 50, all my points are into combat, and there is only 1 block in the report and that’s level 1 horses. Says 5700/? My hero was with my troops and I even have the troops are boosted with hero, I have everything from level 23 and under unlocked. Anything and I mean anything that has to do with combat is learned and unlocked, and he killed 71k troops that are tier 4 with 5700 horsies. Only thing I don’t have unlocked is the Valkyrie research on troops but everything from the Orical is unlocked

Where did he hit you ... on tile, in town ... ?  And your points for your hero putting them all in military still matters where you put them there ... and what about hero equipment and shaman ... and what type troops did you have (melee, range, mixed ???)

Yeah, there's a whole slew of variables at play... Something that bad though sounds like wrong hero and mismatched aes /shrug

I had 15k or so of each tier 4 type. I was at my town. All of my hero is military, his hero has armor but it’s all on food production . He did have a aes. But even still wtf, 70k tier 4 men die to 5.7 k level 1 horses ? Wtf is that

As already mentioned ALOT of things come into play in calculating who wins battles.. However, the thing you are missing.. He sent MORE than 5700 t1, the 5700/? means he lost 5700 in the attack, thats how many your troops killed trying to defend themselves. Better luck next time.

So it’s better to send 500k farmers to attack a village then 100k soldiers? They higher tier men eat more food, so basically there is no point at all what so ever to upgrade past tier 1 troops. I can train 11k tier 1 in 23 hour. And it’s takes me 7 days to train 11k tier 4. Which means I can train almost 80k tier one by the time I train 11k tier 4 and 80k tier 1 destroys 11k tier 4. So there for it is more time efficient and cost efficient and reasearch points efficient to only keep to tier 1? I’m just trying to make sure I understand this right. There is no point in anything higher then tier 1

You are understanding nothing correctly. LOL.  What takes place on a tile versus what takes place versus a town attack are 2 very different things. 1st, on a tile, you can only send a total of YOUR MAX march, but should really only send the bare minimum of what you need to yield with of only t1 (unless you are doing some tile trapping, which the way this discussion is going, I would suggest you steer clear of for quite some time).

When attacking a town, its a whole different ball-game. They can have unlimited amount of troops there, they could be reinforced, or even you as the attacker can use more than your max march if you setup an onslaught with your clan.. these are things that differ from Tile attacks. And also why Higher Tier troops are important.

Your losing sight of the fact that another MAJOR component to the game is KNOWLEDGE and SKILL SETS, So if your t4 are not fully leveled up knowledge-wise, but his T1 are, plus with the new upgrades in the Citadel which adds even more attack %, And the fact that he most likely sent much more than your 71k troops, it is very easy to understand why and how he won.

Well since he’s level 24 and has no hero equipment that has anything to do with warrior capcity it’s safe to say he has around 140k to 150k level 1 horsies max. I still don’t unterstand how 70k tier 4 killers , sieges, horses, and melee didn’t stand a chance lol. Only killed 5700. Ehhh I’m only training tier 1 now if there that op

Do what you want and don't listen, that's the way to learn.

Warrior capacity has nothing to do with max march btw.. only how much RSS the troops can carry.

Good day.

I meant his max March is 140k and I think you knew that. What I understand is this guy with tier 1 who has less then 1 in game time is slaughtering everyone with tier 1 Horseys .my tier 4 are upgraded, maybe instead of assuming I’m assuming you should read my post. I said I have everything unlocked up to level 24, except the valkarey place or whatever.and that’s including learning.

Remember there are the 100% and 150% increasre in March boosters can be used at anytime, along with the increase attack bonus or reduce enemy defence bonus.

Also check out the game guides as different types of troops do better against others, as well as a lot of knowledge attack upgrades and hero equipment.

Hi Evil

You may have the same knowledge and better hero equipment but other things that could have helped your attacker - Boosts (Enemy troop Health etc) - Hero skills set mainly to Cavalry, Health and Defense - Cavalry Shaman - Cavalry Aes - t1 Cavalry Offense up 80% (from Valkyrie building) as well as up to 175% increase in troop size (I see this in pack today). So yes his t1 "farmers" were stronger than your t4 "warriors" in this battle.

For the record, I only train t1 warriors and only 1 type but I am a small player not looking to be a battle hero.

Can take armor off instead of using hero disguise just to mess around too...

It looks like your hero set could be set up incorrectly this plays a major part in determining the victor also 71k of troops is a very low amount to be defending your town even with t4s, Also another important factor is t4 knowledge for Health defense and offense.
