Percentage off Learning Speed etc

Hi,


Does it make sense that when I equip/apply the two amulets to Hero (Fenrir Amulet and Falcom figurine) worth about 30% Learning Speed boost together total, that the time to complete a Knowledge Learning task (Building 1 upgrade to level 9) drops only 1 day, from 1 week 4 days to 1 week 3 days? I'm not a mathematical genius but I'm pretty sure that 30% of 1 week 4 days is more than 1 day....Anyone experience this.

so i just wanted to check it on my and this is result :  

btw i have 2 Falcon amulets but not Legendary (Rare+Epic) so i’ve just 40% reduce at all


that was was without amulets :



and that what happened when i equip it both




so it works as planned

yes... bonus are added... best to show with a example...


below, it is my situation now, already 124.5% research bonus




now, let add a scroll 30% bonus... some will think that bonus is increased from 124.5% to 161.85% ( 124.5 * 1.3 ) but they are wrong... bonus are added so the result is 154.5% as show below...




with a better configuration, the 30% added by the scroll give a lot less visible improvement... in the case below, from 412.5% to 442.5%... it is 7.5% improvement from the situation without the scroll 30%...





all the bonus are added for calculate the total bonus... if you have already a high bonus, adding something to it will not change a lot the time for make the research... but if you are making top research, this "not a lot" can yet mean a lot of time

Equipment bonus does not give as much as those development item bonus when they are same % and used.  It seems the development time bonus items are calculated first and give the exact percentage off 10%, 20% or 30% ... then the equipment bonus gets calculated ... 100% will reduce the now time in half, 200% to 1/3 and 300% to 1/4 ... and inbetween the appropriate percentage ...

formula is :


base time / ( 1 + ( total bonus /100 )


if base time is 180h et bonus is 442.5 as in my last screenshot in previous post, it will drop from 180h to  180/(1+(442.5/100)) = 33.17h

well, since you don't know the base time for a research, you will need a other formula


Check first check statistic from your castle et read your actual research % bonus... let call it OB for old bonus.... by example 442.5


Second, check your research time for something... let call it OT for old time... by example 33.17 hours


Third, add something who increase research ... let call it NB for new bonus... by example, we put something who add 60%


time to grab the calculator


( OT * ( 1 + ( OB / 100 ))) / ( 1 + (( OB + NB )  / 100 ))


with the example :


( 33.17 * ( 1 ( 442.5 / 100 ))) / ( 1 + (( 442.5 + 60 ) / 100 ))


179.94 / 6.025 = 29.86


so, adding something with 60% to what i have already in the example, will reduce time from 33.17h to 29.86h...
