Problem in game ... with clans being mismatched ...

Some people have found if they quit their clan before the cvc event shows up (it was at least 13 hours before but now I guess it has to be 24 hours before because of the 24 hour join another clan rule) and then join again less than 15 minutes before the cvc event shows up then their influence isn't counted but they , the member(s) whose influence didn't count get to have points count for cvc event.  What this does is allow big people to quit clan and then join back so that their cvc opponent is way smaller.  So if their clan is 100B influence and they have big guy(s) quit and then have a clan influence of say 22B and then rejoin less than 15 minutes before the cvc event shows up then they will have enemy cvc of about 22B and their big guy(s) points count ... so in effect you have a 100B clan against a 22B clan.

So seems that there is a lag in the time the match up of cvc's happens and the time that the members who are counted as being in the cvc happens.  It appears the match-ups are happening earlier in the day than the cutoff for joining a clan and having your points count.

Unfortunately, winning at all costs is all the matters to many players, and they will do anything they can to achieve this.

Doesnt matter if its fair or not. Greed is all.

They need to have the cutoff for someones points counting happen either at same time as match up or before the match up ... not hours later.  And yes seems people get "joy" out of winning this way ... for me seems like it would be an "empty" win ...

The more reasonable amongst us would, but just think of those free resources you get without having to produce them, or do something as lame as

go farm them.

Its the me now attitude, if they gave all new players the abilty to do everything in 5 minutes of starting, it still wouldnt be enough.

The nature of the game, the way that its run, and the mindset of a lot of the people that play it , are in my opinion what is killing it.

If there is a loophole people will find it and take advantage of it ... that is why when reported the loopholes need to be closed.  As I said the clan match ups have to be happening before the actual time (change of day when cvc event shows up) when the cut off is for joining the clan.  To close the loophole this gap in time needs to either not happen or if there has to be a gap then the cut off of members joining and points counting has to come BEFORE the actual matchup of clans.

Yes I am sure ... and I know because there is a clan that keeps taking advantage of this loophole.  They have done it cvc after cvc after cvc.  They have admitted it and I see them leaving and rejoining the clan and I see the influence of their competition clan.

Though this would no doubt be of benefit to the run of the mill player,  it's probably not true for the games' owner.

Also if it was introduced, it would be like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Assuming they decided to continue playing ,which is highly debatable, given they have been used to easy street, those with the deepest pockets have already gained their advantage, which they will retain.

Like cut backs which have allegedly already happened, any changes they make, like when they took Barbarians and Centurions out of the game, affect all the new players disadvantageously, compared to those that played under the old system.

This wouldnt matter so much if the kingdoms were totally isolated from each other, but they are not, they are inter actively linked.

you should take screenshots of the clan and also of the players that did that and send them to an admin to investigate, it looks like a glitch exploit

Hello Jarls!

If you have noticed a player or a Clan violating the game rules, please provide us with the following information about this issue:

1. The number of the player's/Clan's Kingdom and the coordinates of their Town or a screenshot of the player's/Clan's profile;

2. Screenshots illustrating the rule violation(s).

Thank you in advance and we are waiting for your reply.

They are not breaking the rules ... just like those people who would quit clan and join other clans to go around during cvc and be able to attack a lot of different kingdoms ... there is a loophole that lets them do this, just as there was a loophole that let people join hundreds of clans in one day.  The game matches up the clans for cvc's BEFORE they cut off who the members are that count for the cvc.

Writing to support will just produce the same results as those who wrote to support about the people who continually jumped clans and went to other kingdoms to kill so as to up their kill statistics for competition ranking or for whatever reason they did it.  Support just says they are not breaking the rules ... which is correct ... they are just taking advantage of a loophole in the game that needs to be shut.

Yes I agree there should not be spending caps ... the system that plarium has set up I think works very well ... those who want to be big by spending a ton of money that is fine ... but then they find out that many can't win competitions just by being big ... so they resort to things like what I am explaining here in this thread so that their clan can be "winners" ...

And I could be much bigger than I currently am ... I have so much items in inventory (hero energy, shaman energy, etc) and a lot of gold ... but I use it when I decide it would be useful for a win ... I don't just use it so I am "big" ... one sometimes very misunderstood aspect of this game is it is better to "look" less than you are ... :)

And I don't mean "look" less by taking advantage of a loophole so that the clan you are competing against has 1/5 the influence of your clan because you took advantage of a loophole.
