I've got game crash everytime I'm trying to close dialogue/reports/system/contacts window with this error :

Hello Jarls!

This kind of failure happens in case your PC cannot load the application data due to the lack of RAM or unstable Internet connection. Please try closing all not used applications and tabs in your browser before launching the game. Please also check your PC's RAM and make sure your Internet connection is stable. If the issue is still relevant after performing the specified steps, please let us know.

Hello,

I have 8GB of RAM and have been playing this game over a year with no issues and you're saying suddenly RAM is an issue now? 

By the way I've done all the steps advised but problem still exists. Some of my clan's friends have same issue.

1GO internet speed and 16GO ram, this error is showing up every 2 minutes since this morning anything i open can make the game to crashe

Started happening for me today, not had the problem before on this browser, Firefox, seen it on other account, Chrome, before. Now happening 3 or 4 times today on both.

There we go, just happened again on Chrome account. Getting silly now, please fix asap.

Within 2 mins of starting again, seems to be every time i delete a report, or claim a finished task.

Has something to do with Jontunheim I suspect as it has started to happen frequently since new events there started.

 tried several times and it still kept crashing,even crashed before it loaded. even after clearing cache.

Too much recursion, whatever that is.i think it means the techs keep making mistakes over and over .......:0D

Becoming unplayable with this recurring problem, I guess it's only for browser users, they really don't care if you're not playing from facebook.

Still this problem continues, after maintenance, on each account and browser, but so far only when exiting Workshop, either with "X" in window or just clicking on town.

well, i think that Ema don't explain it clearly... it is a RAM related issue, as the webgl unity memory error BUT it is not directly related to the amount of RAM in your computer.


Browser can allow only 2 gb by process... unity file system happen in memory, not on the hard drive... so all asset for the game are stored in these 2 gb range... plugin, toolbar, addon, etc take a chunk of these 2gb too...


with time, and several log in and log out, these 2 gb ram for proces become fragmented and unity need a continious linear memory room...


the 2 screenshot in this topic show a text who say "... see your browser java script console for more info..." but if you do so, you will have a message from plarium who say you to STOP as show below






these tools can be useful for optimize your browser on your own side... by example, the performance tab have show me that ublock ( who stop advert ) was slowing down everything and adding lag... the memory tab have show me that a lot of my plugin/addon was using plenty of memory and i have set them on "load on demand" in place of "always on"...


tools show too that plarium are working on the memory problem too. after the major update from july who was a failure, following update have introduce routine who regulary clean and free memory as it can be see in the java console log... so devs are working on it, problem is their lack of communication with customer who feel that plarium do nothing.


About cleaning cache... sometime, caching problem can be elsewhere that on your own computer... lost of ISP use proxy for speed up web browsing experience of users by delivering pre-cached contents from locally available servers... in my cache, i dissable it because cached content by isp can be days old and with the update rate of vikings, it can mean bad news... and a isp proxy is one more server between you and plarium, perfect for increase lag...


At last, some of the game problem are not directly from plarium itself... unity is a great tool but it have his own issue and the unity team is working on it... and unity is not the responsability of plarium... by example, unity is working now on better compression for 3d texture in memory... when it will be done and release, it will greatly reduce the webgl unity memory error...


Maybe from time to time, it will be good to have a devs visit the forum and make a post where he explain a little more to the public... customer hate to be keep in the dark... plarium do his share of mistake mainly by rushing major update but all problem are not their fault... again, the biggest problem of plarium is their lack or poor communication with their customer. In the long term, it will cost them a lot of money due to customer leaving the game...

2 days now and no problem exiting workshop on 3 different browsers, looks like this one is fixed, thank you.

I found the same problem  in my system , other games of plarium are working fine, my browser supports webgl , have clear chache , I have done everything  from my side ,but unable to play viking games of war. facing same issue, can some  one here to help to resolve this issue
