Hi There!

I’m reading and receiving conflicting advice on troops to train to take hits. All the advice here seems to be over a year old and a clan buddy is saying something completely different!

Can someone please advise?

Are traps supposed to specialise in one troop type plus scouts, or a mega-ton of T1 (all different types)? If we are using T1 troops do we need other tiers as well.

Any advise in this area gratefully received.

Thank you :)

Solo troop traps in your town specialise in one troop type only and put hero and shaman in that gear, if your reinforced by other clan members get them so send different troop types to your town as long as it is there specialised troop type too. If your scouts are not maxed out in citadel use lynx gear instead of troop specific gear as it will cover your scouts too or just dismiss your scouts until you have the knowledge and use troop specific gear as I said prior as the new specific gear is a lot more powerful than the old gear, The old gear was only slightly better than lynx but there is a big difference with the new gear.

since the t7 knowledges update you now need a lot of t4 troops. there are t1-3 attack bonuses in the t7 knowledge tree making defending against the big guys a lot harder. t4 gives a good strength but doesn't blow your influence level out too much.

You are quite right and this is how many t4s are needed to defend a massive os by a huge clan.
