Clan Mission Reward Pack Updates!

Clan Mission Reward Pack Updates!
Reward Packs Are Now Easier To Earn But Are Stored For 3 Days Only! Act Fast!

STRATCOM SECURE TRANSMISSION

Commanders!

After extensive analysis, STRATCOM has altered the reward system for Clan Missions.

From now on, the number of Points required to advance to higher-level reward tiers has been significantly decreased! This means bigger prizes are now easier to achieve! Remember that the Reward Packs include Resources, Units, Boosts and other Wasteland essentials, and that if your clan is successful, every Clan member will receive one!

But be advised: from now on, all Reward Packs for completing Clan Missions will be stored for 3 days only! Remember to claim your rewards at the Black Market under the “Misc.” tab and take advantage of the powerful bonuses while you can! If you’re too late, you’ll see the Reward Pack marked as expired, and you’ll have to click the “Remove” button to take it off your Black Market.

Clan Missions are integral if we want to come out on top in the war against Morgana. STRATCOM needs to see some serious teamwork out there in the Wasteland. Get out there, and make sure all your Clanmates are pulling their weight; we don’t want to see any Commanders slacking!

@General T. Winters (9 April, 2015, 6:03 PM UTC):
Are the higher tiers (3 and 4) still offering the same rewards?

The higher tier rewards are actually decent, think it's like 3 fights for the highest one and 3 plasmas for the second highest, if you get them every day (which is easy to do now that the requirements have been lowered) they start to add up, especially for the lower level players.

I have to agree with NUT Shot. Perhaps not quite so bluntly, however he gets the message across.

The total realisable reward value for all reward packs is 101,845 resource (Lets call it 1 raid and a bit). Obviously this excludes the Boosts, Teleporters and Cryonic Containers because while their crystal value is OK, you can't realise it into resources.

There are 2 types of clan missions, lets call them aggressive and passive.

Passive are where you don't need to lose troops. The raiding one is one example. I can raid 1M res in the mission time without losing a unit. This is worth while, the mission gives incentive and then some very small reward.

Aggressive requires troop loss to attain the rewards. These missions cannot be done without significantly more troop loss than what the rewards pay out. You COULD argue that the infest one isn't really troop loss, but since the return rate of infests is dubious at best, this still comes under that heading. 101,845 = 4.2BCs

There is a term for leading people to spend more to get something than what it is worth. It is called a SCAM. Otherwise known as stupid tax or tax for those who can't do basic maths etc.

Shame on you Plarium.

The argument against this is that the true package value is the product of the reward and the clan size. However for this to be achievable in a manner that makes it profitable requires a large clan with a very high activity level. This then adds further imbalance to the game, giving additional advantage to these clans.

I am happy for someone to prove this wrong, but please use actual verifiable numbers and show your working. Telling me that you "know" something that we don't won't cut it. Nor will telling me that someone told you (that includes your Technicians, General). Hard facts or nothing.

(Also interested if you have a good, provable formula for putting a value on Teleports and Serums, given the fact there is no opportunity cost here because you don't get a choice to spend the crystal otherwise)

At least all this, in addition to the really poorly developed interface (which is getting worse and worse by the update) is really good for my self control when buying crystal... :P

Same here I am looking for a suicide target tonight Basil has done a good job of talking me down thus far.  LOL the game developers and this sh!tty tech lead are a joke and have effectively run this game into the ground anything that makes to much sense will be responded with "Commander my team has looked at the numbers and have concluded..." or "Commander there is no issue please clear your cache and delete your cookies to continue battle in the Wastland"....  A wasteland it has become....
