PvE changes - Tournament Points calculation mechanics

Commanders! Here's a quick heads-up!

In the next Infestation Extermination (PvE) Tournament, STRATCOM will be changing the Tournament Points calculation mechanics. Now, instead of gaining Tournament Points only for successfully clearing Infestations, you will get Points for taking out Morgana's troops even when you fail to neutralize the Location. A couple notes regarding the upcoming changes:

1. The total number of Tournament Points received from Infested Sites remains the same. Only their distribution mechanics have been altered: you will receive Tournament Points regardless of whether the Infestation was cleared – they are now issued per troop eliminated, rather than per Infestation cleared. It was really frustrating when you worked away at your last Infested Site but didn’t manage to clear it until after the end of PvE Tournament, wasn’t it? Now, you will get the Tournament points you deserve for your efforts in such cases.

2. The update in question will only affect Infestation Extermination Tournament Point calculation mechanics. Rewards for Infestations and rewards for the Tournament remain the same.

If you left some Infestations nearly defeated in order to finally clear them during the PvE Tournament, STRATCOM recommends that you destroy them now before the next PvE Tournament starts, so you can have fresh ones available, full of mutants to target, and maybe even get to top the Rankings!

Tested it out on Soldiers Inc. before hand; Much needed and welcomed update.

Especially useful for higher levels, and doesn't seem to affect total points (To confirm ' The total number of Tournament Points received from Infested Sites remains the same').

Commander MANIAKAAL , such idea appeared some months ago. Moreover other players also suggested this. This only proves that in most cases our game community and developers have a common vision of the game

Congratulations, worst update of the year.

I have bout 15 cleared infests (lvl 50 - 60) to a "Yellow" bar with few mutants left inside to finish it of when global mission comes.

and now its here and im not gona get all those points I was waiting for :/ 

screw you Plarium, just messed up my game.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 so this system now is same as all others.. pvp/exp/infests all rewarded for every unit you kill with points, unlike like before you were rewarded for finishing every infest which is diferent, General i thought you want to introduce variety!! Not trying to make all tournaments look the same.

Commander AYO CK , we've made such post beforehand so our Commanders can aknowledge about the changes before the Tournament starts.

I have had a lot of infest tournaments, but never points because i was busy with yellowbarring them. Now finally i get some points for that.


I found it  always strange that you kill thousands of units but get no points in tournaments for it.

thats why we had XP tournament..... down all infest to yellow bar during XP tournament and during global infest finish them off... but now whats the point of XP mission

 you do realise the amount of different ways to get XP don't you, especially killing troops lol

lol i know :)

well its actually only 2 ways infest and PvP

but why would i want to gain exp from attacking others if i can do that during PvP mission

The reward is better during pvp missions, i usually just hit infests for xp.
