let us copy and paste to message

Can you  make it so you can copy and Paste in private  messaging? It is a pain in the butt to have to type in screenshots and the like instead of just C/P them. It would also be handy to give new players instructions on how to play...just have 1 doc to send to their mail instead of having to type it every ********** time. Thanks!!

@Jonzer (15 March, 2016, 12:41 AM UTC):
You can copy and paste to PMs.

Pasting is the normal (Cntrl+V), copying is the button next to the X (Deleting) button. When you click the copying button, there should be a message similar to "This text has been copied to your clip board".

if you have the rank of cl or dcl you can send 1 message to all clanmembers with on message "send to all function"

If not, type your first message, select the text you make, hit control C and send the message, open a new message to send, and hit control V. And the text is also in that message

I know most of that...and thanks! however, if you have a small member just joining you're clan....And wants some help with the basics of what to do...emits and other things. Then a week or 2 later, someone else needs the exact same instructions...and so on and so on. Is there any way to send that same message to people maybe a week or 2 later without re-typing it again and again? i'm not talking about sending a message to everyone all at once. just have a doc file you can insert. Or, maybe sending a screenshot url without typing it in?   maybe I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box, but I can't figure out how to do that. thanks!!!

You can't attach files to in game mails (probably for security reasons).  But you can write the mail out in a text file, and then copy paste the text into an in-game mail.

That is the way i also do, if i have common PM's that repeatly in time get back, i save them in a wordpad doc. It's then a simple copy and paste.

Also, if you want communications better, did you think about making a clansite? Then every member can read back whatever has been written.

I love the idea of Clansites. Do you have any thoughts about how it would look like?

There are already a lot of clansites. Did you not know? Most of them are like a forum or message board. They have a login, so only members can enter.

Just use google to find them, or companys who offer those clansites for free

I know that Clans have some external sites. I thought he asked of this possibility within our Forum.

If you look to this by that...

I would suggest make it possible in the forum, to create groups. Most forumsoftware have that option already programmed inside.

A CL can send a PM to General W. with a request to make a clan group in the forum. With name and password to set. This CL gets rights to SET grouprights and invite his/her members. Moderators, Community managers and so Do not have Acces to the clan group part of the forum.

You will get also profit by making this possible. I think the traffic to the forum will also raise because the members of the clan need to go to the clanpages by visiting the forum.

I think this is a win-win situation. Provide safe subforums (groups) for clans and get more traffic to the normal forum.
