Happened to me to, i went to my profile and set the same picture again
I never touch my profile picture, too afraid if I stray from the current one plarium will take it away :P

I was use my Facebook picture, game bug and remove my picture to replace by the Alien...i make ticket and they are unable to solve it.
I was in mind to keap that Alienface then...but actually i see they also change my Original picture from forum to replace them by one in list for me.
Im not happy with that bug and fail to repair it...i dont understand why they touch my forum picture.
I still see some player that success keap them original picture...make me a little bit jalous.
It enouch for me to not use the forum i think, or less possible.
I hope they repair it and get back my account like suppose, with my picture on game and forum.
I also dont see any option in forum profile to change the picture that some 1 replace from me. (Admin or a bug again.)

They got rid of some of the old pictures and the Black dog picture was one of the old ones

I think they'll need to have it uploaded, then. Like Gameloft, you could have whatever picture you wanted as long as it was uploaded to their server, and less than 256*256 (I think... Nearly no pictures, but oh well lol)

I tried to get my facebook profile picture (On the left) to load but it didn't work. One time I got stuck with no picture and the other time with one ugly pseudo viking from the choices the game gives you. There are too many people with the same avatar which makes it difficult to realize who you are dealing with... and I hate anyone with the green defense phalanx dude Theo... avatar because I was was victimized by a guy with that avatar when I first joined the game. Anyone near me has that avatar they get raided and besieged and crushed!

I would assume you'd have to connect your FB account to your game account; The forum profile picture system doesn't affect the in-game one.
If you ever want to be sure you remember someone, just book mark them.
1- all server avatars are ugly.
2- I enter my account with G + and shows no image.
3- I put one of my taste and there is no way.
4- I suggest that the player can upload the avatar you want, and not be limited to those here on the server.
5- I played this game for years from its origins (G +, FB, and here) and what I see here is more limited.
6- only you see here in the forum and never at stake.
