Personal, Special and Worldwide tournaments in the Throne Kingdom at War

Personal tournaments

On personal tournaments, each of your personal actions can award you tournament points that allows you to get specific awards. When you get access to the higher leagues, you have to win more points, but the rewards are much more interesting. Personal tournaments can provide the Lord with very important items such as gold, up to 15-hour boosters, 20% bonus to building time and 20% bonus to learning speed which are the most sought after items you can only get through tournament awards (because they are multiplicative modifiers and not cumulated with your actual bonus from skills/items).

Tournaments are run at the same time on the whole game this mean there is a ranking which is realm-independant. You can get gold when you achieve a rank 1-100, better gold the higher ranking. Highest leagues provide the highest amount of gold, more than 80 000 (in my league) gold for the first rank.

Special tournaments (Order)

On special tournaments, each of the players of the order get tournament points for the tournament, which is shared amongst Order players. When you get access to the higher leagues, you have to win more points, but the rewards are much more interesting. Order tournaments can provide the Lord with very important items such as gold, town skins, up to 15-hour boosters, 20% bonus to building time and 20% bonus to learning speed which are the most sought after items you can only get through tournament awards (because they are multiplicative modifiers and not cumulated with your actual bonus from skills/items).

For most tournaments, you need to at least participate with one action to get the reward. For example, during the assailant’s tournament, you need to hit/kill at least one assailant. For the Yielding tournament, you need to yield at least one resource. For the kill tournament, you need to kill at least one troop.

There is a similar game-wide ranking for Order tournaments which gives the chance for each player of the Order to earn gold if the Order is ranked 10 or better in the league. These competitions are exciting as they are one of the only interactions of Orders of various realms on the game.

Worldwide tournaments

There are three types of global tournaments.

Kingdoms war. In this special tournament which happens every 2 weeks from Friday to Sunday (3 days total duration), each kingdom is matched to another enemy kingdom.

During the tournament, each Lord in a Order can use special relocation items from the store (at the cost of 50 gold) to relocate to the enemy kingdom and attack enemy kingdom Order members, generate resources from tiles or hit/kill enemy kingdom assailants to generate points in the tournament.

Points generated by Lords are computed in the Order first to give Order rewards to the Lords who participated in the tournament. Rewards for Kingdom's war are really interesting and much higher than any other rewards from other tournaments.

Kingdom Order points are then added and computed to match enemy kingdom's Orders points. The war tournament is won by the kingdom who gets the most total points during the tournament. The winner kingdom gets special "Gold of the Gods" tiles that generate 1 gold per minute for 5 days.

Kingdoms war: Retribution

During this two day tournament, you are offered a chance to relocate to the previous enemy kingdom and attack this kingdom's towns. However, points are collected this time by peaceful actions such as healing, resurrecting, training troops or yielding resources in your own kingdom. Order rewards include a 7-day booster as well as many other nice things while victory grants the same 10% bonus as those obtained in the Kingdoms war and extra level 7 resource tiles that spawn right after the end of the tournament.

Orders war.

Is a tournament that happens every week for 2 days, Tuesday to Wednesday. (2 days total duration). Each Order is matched against a Order with around equal Power.During the tournament, each Lord in a Order can use special relocation items from the store (at the cost of 50 gold) or the free you get from the tournament to relocate to the enemy kingdom. You get point from doing things in your kingdom or enemy Order kingdom. Yielding and killing assailants gives extra points if done in enemy kingdom. Upgrading and transform RRS in stronghold also gives points here.

If you win your Order war you also get a 1 week boost 10% to Citadel build, knowledge and transformations

Excellent start! A topic well worthwhile, thank you!

> "20% bonus to learning speed which are the most sought after items you can only get through tournament awards (because they are multiplicative modifiers and not cumulated with your actual bonus from skills/items)."

Arguably incomplete or incorrect. ("cumulated"?)

Arguably "Boosts" are the most sought after as they bonus anything. Studying, Construction, Training, Crafting, and so on.

Boosts to construction speed are also important. Arguably so is training.

'Safe conduct' is arguably a special case of double bonus - only available during KvKr, both as "Order achievements" and "Personal achievements." Alpha assailant camps can typically be yielded just under and hour for food, just over an hour for lumber and stone, and rather longer for Silver. The first bonus occurs for killing the alpha, the additional bonus occurs for yielding the resulting camp and applying a corresponding 1 or 3 hour safe conduct. Both actions gain substantial rewards. You can apply more than 1, and more than 1 type of, safe conduct at once. e.g. 2h total = 2 x 1h, 4h total = 1 x 3h + 1 x 1h.

> "For example, during the assailant’s tournament, you need to hit/kill at least one assailant."

You only need to hit (for at least 1% damage?), not kill.

> "During the tournament, each Lord in a Order can use special relocation items from the store (at the cost of 50 gold) to relocate to the enemy kingdom and attack enemy kingdom Order members, "

This item, and a corresponding return item, are offered free with each event. No need to go to store or spend gold. Opening up the event will reveal item icons and a claim button. Clicking claim adds the items to your list. Once claimed, these icons and button disappear.

> "you need to yield at least one resource."

Say, rather, you need to send at least one troop to a non-gold camp. (Assailant, Apostate, or Resource.)

Add:

So make sure, for any corresponding event you send your hero and inquisitor at least once, and at least 1 troop to a resource. (A single troop arrives and departs so quickly there is no danger of troop loss.)

For events with destroying troop awards, get some buddy to send 1 troop without hero to some resource you farm, long enough to repel the attack. Return the favor.

For build and study events, spend gold if you have to because you are already on long term builds and studies. Military camp, Rune Workshop, and Hall of Justice are often good candidates. The reward is often greater than the expense, increasing substantially as your order mates execute, even though you are on a long term study and/or build. (You will automatically return the favor when those builds or studies complete. So at least boost them so they complete more than an hour after the beginning on an event. And before the event ends.)

Your event points can be seen at the top of the Allies tab in any event description. You can confirm your action gained points by looking there before and after. A typical example of failure is inadvertently yielding in the wrong kingdom for that event.

Event stats can be seen in the 2nd (Orders / Kingdoms) tab of a corresponding event description by clicking "Tournament statistics" near the top. From here you can see what your order is doing well at, or not, and what seems to be garnering the most points. With this information you can encourage your fellow order mates.  Typical examples are resource yielding and training, both of which seem to be overlooked often. Keep an eye out for training and time boosts occurring at the same time, during these events.

Note that Citadel action rewards appear in the Master's stats - the Master did not actually individually score that well.

Excellent start! A topic well worthwhile, thank you!

What role or points do 'non Order' players generate during any of these events?

Personal events are personal - so not impacted by order (or kingdom).

Kingdom events - if you're part of a kingdom, and the kingdom is old enough to participate in such events, participation requirements are met. Order doesn't come into it. [Except, kingdom event checkpoints are accomplished by Orders, so their collective result in this kingdom event gains benefits.] you have to be part of the kingdom before the event is announced. (i.e. Used carriage no later than some days ago.) {See next point / add next point, here, too - if you're new to the order, you do not get any goodies from your new order crossing checkpoints during this kingdom event.}

Order events - non-Order or recently joined players do not contribute points to an Order's checkpoints during the event.

... however, although they do not themselves get points, they can have an impact in many ways. e.g.

- reinforce others

- prevent others from yielding (points from yielding are immaterial [events are decided by multiple billions of points, and it is very rare any order can yield all that many points quickly enough], however preventing the enemy from yielding is very material. A few billion points can be the difference between winning and losing - so it's not that yielding doesn't gain points, it's that the enemy is prevented from doing so, and you don't have to be effecting points to prevent them from doing so.) [Bonus if something like Personal Hunting Enemies or Supremacy is on at the same time, for which they do get personal points.]

- send rss to others so they can heal / train / grow.

- send to Citadel

- boost Citadel

This is nuanced. No doubt I've missed things. Please add to this list.
