(Simplified) War Devotee Secret Achievement Cheatsheet

Moved from mid-thread , based upon @Umbra's wonderful Achievement War Devotee (multilingual)  [has ss, too], trusted buds (ty!) , e.g. from Discord  / reports, and direct experience.

(Simplified) War Devotee Secret Achievement Cheatsheet

Lvl:  <#>

  1:   5

  2:  10

  3:  15

  4:  20

  5:  30

  6:  50

  7:  75

  8:  100

9: 125 (Lewk confirmed.) Others confirm needed 130.

 10: 200? One confirmation needed 250.

{Per reports on Discord.}

[For a more detailed discussion, see @Umbra's excellent War Devotee thread .]

Need - <#> amount of:

  • +500% Increased Offense
  • +500% Increased Defense
  • +3,250% Troop Increase

- per level

- usually gained within "Dominion Ruins", but also from opening Lord's Coffers upon raising your Palace level (beyond 35).

  1. Activate <#> Boosts.
  2. Wait (we think) for activations to expire plus 3 hours, for achievement to actually land. (Remember, log out and back in.) Many hours between activation and actual awarding have been mentioned.

- boosts must be newly acquired since game update / last War Devotee level awarded.

= [... any items already in inventory do not count towards "use" <#> total ]

= jot down how many of each boost you have upon level being awarded. Acquire and expend <#> more of them for the next level.

- can do other things (like take advantage of the boosts you've just activated) in the mean time.

- trigger is expenditure of boosts, so once activated you can begin accumulating for the next level. So, don't open Lord's Coffers until new level awarded!

- if level not awarded after a few days, try 5 more of them. Have received trusted reports that doing so worked, i.e. Total <#> used is cumulative - don't have to use 70 more again, for example on level 7, only need to do the 5 more.

[Check post #2 below and  Discord  for help with which streets within which boosts are dropped. Much discussion, expertise, and charts, have been mentioned, there.]

? You have 3 columns, what are the other two?

Go Discord  for more timely help. It was @Lewk there who kindly compiled and made the chart, then posted it in #fan-guides there.

Here, more than 1 building on a street may drop the bonuses.

Thank you so much and also thanks for sharing that discord link. I will surely visit to that discord link when I am done writing my essay assignment on life with the help of this link. Because I have only one day left to complete my essay assignment and I don't want my parents to get angry from me.

A MUCH simpler way of stating this is you need to both EARN and use the given number of boosts when you start working on a level.  All this stuff about boosts earned before a certain time is misleading.  I have found it doesn't matter which order you do them, earning or spending.  I've spent the required number, and when I then went and earned enough, I got the achievement.

I hear you Rose, but in everything I've seen you get the achievement after having acquired and then spent the required number. Not after having spent, and then acquired.

Well, try it.

Additionally, you can get these buffs from the daily quests (more specifically, the weekly ones).

75 seems high for level 7.  I was keeping a hatch mark tally as I used them, and I was up to 52 when I suddenly got level 7.  Could be I missed some of course, probably did.  But seems like 60 might be more likely?  What have others experienced?

To test this, follow this procedure:

A) acquire 15 of each buff.

B) spend 5 to get level 1.  THis will give you 10 to use that won't get counted for level 2.

C) spend the remaining 10.

D) go acquire 10 more of each.

E. relog, and wait and see if you get level 2.

I got level 8 after farming well over 90 of each boost, and then at last having spent exactly 90 (I spent 5 of each in the last installment) I got it about 3-4 hours later, pretty punctual.
