(1) Stay shielded.

(2) Join the largest active order you can. They will help. [Merely being in the order will return enough gp to you to keep yourself shielded. Just make sure you get at least one point -during- each inter-k event. One ass. hit, one apostate, train one, one errand run, do a study, level up a building, send one troop to yield something. You will want to do more, but get at least one point per event.]

(3) Have patience.

Above is how the big guys became so.

Don't forget to create as many accounts as you can as most everyone else does(Plarium support says it's okay.. it's a gray area). That's REALLY how the majority do it.

Probably not.

At best, that provides 100M'ish rss per day. You still have to execute and boost the build, study, training, whatever.

Not enough, in and of itself, to boost any one character to the B's we see in the large players.

Per the OP:

1. Shield.

2. Join large order.

3. Have patience.

Multiple accounts, in and of themselves, won't get you there.

The best is to join an order. We all help each other to become strong !!!

> The best is to join an order. We all help each other to become strong !!!

Just bear in mind, an order can't protect you. If you're vulnerable and unshielded, nothing they can do for you. So stay shielded. They can try to intercede or step in front of you, but for large opponents all they are doing is sharing your bleeding, to no end. [B players spanking lesser players is a different thing. At sufficiently high levels, both sides loose too greatly, for B level players to go at each other.]

At best, they can try to hit the miscreant to stop your bleeding, but that's all. With any competence, the attacker will always be able to re-shield faster than your mates can land blows. And since castle walls provide great protection, and troops go to the infirmary where they can be instantly healed with boosts, large players may not even notice such blows.

This is why everyone huddling together can be self-defeating - you're merely providing your enemy with a target rich environment. (Yes, the citadel valley provides some bonuses, but they are limited.) Watchtowers max. out at 60 mile radius, so cover 120 miles. Looking at towns, for enemies without the shield icon, can make it easy to find candidate victims.

Your mates can also send you rss to help you recover and build. You can send your troops to them as reinforcement (protecting them under their shield), but you can still lose your rss. [This is also called a trap. :) ]

- sending resources is much faster than regular marches, you need not be near each other.

- once troops leave to reinforce someone, they are safe. They can't be killed coming or going, or upon arrival at your shielded mate. [One tactic is to send all your troops to yield a tile at the far opposite end of the map - keeping them safe during their journey. You can even cancel the march before they arrive, if your circumstances at the time warrant it.]

Most of all, though, large orders have lots of experience to draw upon as you go through the game yourself.
