Cannot Login To Game If Email Address Contains Punctuation - Broken Since 1.90

Hi there,

I have been discussing this problem in game - but the responses are slow. With the release of 1.90 I could no longer log into the game.

I use GMail alises to track the various castles that I have. For example:

[email protected]

[email protected]


With the release of 1.90 I now get the error "invalid email address" and cannot login. I was told by in game support to change my email address. I think that's unreasonable given this has worked for > 2 years. Additionally support acknowledge this problem (so you could use a hyphen again in your email address) and hence why 1.90.1 was released .

Please can you fix this urgently (ie. restore to original pre 1.90 functionality). I can't login. I have spent money on these castles. Wikipedia has a good article in relation to valid email address formats. Punctuation is perfectly acceptable.

Hello, my Lord! To resolve this issue you need to contact our Help Center, they will change your email. When the fix is launched, you can change your email again. 

This issue will be fixed with next update.
