Battleground is no longer viable

I am a big fan of this game and I particularly enjoy the battleground aspects. I spend a lot of time working out the best attacking/defensive troop formation for each individual quest and until recently have had good results. Unfortunately the rewards scheme has changed in such a way that is no longer viable to send hard earned units into the battlegrounds. Previously although you'd expect to loose a lot of units, you would receive most back in return further down the line as battleground rewards. Now they've started replacing some of the unit rewards with crystals and paragon points. This means that the reward for sending in 300k of units into several lvl 40 battlegrounds could be as little as 1 crystal or 5 paragon points. I'd rather keep my units thanks. This presents a further problem that you can no longer replenish your units quick enough to clear the quests in the eagles nest because you are sacrificing a lot more units than you get in return. To highlight the problem, just over a week ago I had a 600k offence, the only place I used these units was on the battleground and now I have a 200k offence.

My Lord, first of all, I am pleased to know that you love the game and I appreciate your feedback regarding the Battlefround feature. Battlegrouds are tricky. If you mean calculating the cumulative number of off/deff points of the troops that you send to battlegrouds, it is one of the most discussing topics and you can share your experience with other players in order to discuss your ideas. Let me draw your attention to the fact that we didn't change anything in the Battleground mechanics.

Greetings from our beloved kingdom from the rivers of northwest region of Stormfall.
I write to you regarding a specific problem concerning Battlegrounds with the hopes of unlocking its secrets and mysteries.

Altough we have almost mastered the art of always winning while defending villages and also when raiding the foul armies of Balur, there is one thing that puzzles our king and his royal army commanders. How are we able to determine the amount of lives that must be sacrificed by out people in hopes of gaining a return?

At times the prize comes quick, at times it does not. May you please share with us this knowledge?
We fear that our army may be entirely sacrificed as we engage higher levels since we notice that the higher level, the longer the reward takes to arrive.

Lastly, our noble King has asked me to send you and your fellow kingsmen a barrel of our finest rum, aged for almost 20 years in the cellar of our kingdoms vineyards.

What is the trick I Lost all my units to them with no return?? I dont get it... Please someone enlighten me on to how you do them properly? Thanks.

I wish that someone could tell me how you are suppose to access the Quests in the Eagle's Nest? It keeps telling me I need to do a certain level battle and complete the previous quest, but as soon as I do that level, it ups the the level again on me..and where the heck is the previous quest or what is it........I sure wish there was some way to ask someone of the game constructs; but all they tell you is that you have to ask in the forum, it is not a technical issue..........

Quests are listed in your left-side menu. You can check it to see if you have a quest (a new one or a completed one) for the Eagle's Nest. As soon as you complete the quest for previous BG, you will be able to get a new one.

I spend a lot of time working out the best attacking/defensive troop formation for each individual quest and until recently have had good results. Unfortunately the rewards scheme has changed in such a way that is no longer viable to send hard earned units into the battlegrounds. Previously although you'd expect to loose a lot of units, you would receive most back in return further down the line as battleground rewards. Now they've started replacing some of the unit rewards with crystals and paragon points. This means that the reward for sending in 300k of units into several lvl 40 battlegrounds could be as little as 1 crystal or 5 paragon points. I'd rather keep my units thanks. This presents a further problem that you can no longer replenish your units quick enough to clear the quests in the eagles nest because you are sacrificing a lot more units than you get in return. I spend a lot of time working out the best attacking/defensive troop formation for each individual quest and until recently have had good results. Unfortunately the rewards scheme has changed in such a way that is no longer viable to send hard earned units into the battlegrounds. Previously although you'd expect to loose a lot of units, you would receive most back in return further down the line as battleground rewards. Now they've started replacing some of the unit rewards with crystals and paragon points. This means that the reward for sending in 300k of units into several lvl 40 battlegrounds could be as little as 1 crystal or 5 paragon points. I'd rather keep my units thanks. This presents a further problem that you can no longer replenish your units quick enough to clear the quests in the eagles nest because you are sacrificing a lot more units than you get in return.
