Who Would Win?

To all knowledgeable Ladies and Lords of Stormfall,

For this question we must place ourselves in a hypothetical situation:

I am fighting an opponent at a hamlet that he currently controls. Neither of us have any boosters, bonuses, hero equipment, multipliers, lost art unit upgrades (besides basic unit discovery), buffs, or any other variable that would increase our offensive/defensive ratings.

At his hamlet, he has stationed 105,000 dwarves, for a total of 1,680,000 bestiary defense.

I attack him with a mighty force of 1,000 dragons, for a total of 1,680,000 bestiary offence.

Who would win? Who would suffer more losses?

The underlying game dynamic that I am trying to figure out is this: if the offensive/defensive rating is exactly the same, is it better to have many weak units or fewer strong units? (PLEASE disregard factors such as speed, food consumption, etc! I am only concerned with ability to fight) Or is there no difference at all in terms of fighting force?

Thank you in advance,

A curious and calculating Lord of Stormfall.

Hi, friend.

I'll try to find it out.

But what I can say now:

  1. Dwarves - 105 000 will cost you 175*105000=12 600 000 rss and will take 328 days to be trained back.
  2. Dragons - 1000 will cost you 39200*1000= 39 200 000 rss and will take 146 day to be trained back.
So dragons are *3 more expencive than dwarves but will be trained faster *2.25.
