i would really like the modarators to have a talk with plarium

about this !!! gloryous rewards never were shining !!

in my eyes a glorious reward is something where u go

"YEEEAH" and feeling stronger (for I did awsome )

but the amount of units in the rewards is just making fun of the players

playing pvp will cost u more units then u win so where is the point

and then the items wich u cant use just go beyond my grasp 

i feel sorry for u mods :)  but you are the ones who can skype

with plarium so we (the players) express our irritations to u 


to wrap it up :) 

please try to get plarium to realice u dont hand a hungry man

just a spoonful soup but a BIG pot with lots of  bread on the side :D


as to the paying custermer 

remember the coustermer is ALWAYS RIGHT 

so if they say !

( the food  dosent taste right )

u give a better meal on the house  :)

Okay, if you look at your castle, you start with what looks like a Castle, or at least a keep, this should have a base defence value/bonus. So someone that haven't necessary spent a fortune on walls and such to up their defence bonus at least got some incentive to defend, rather than just put their units in catacombs. 


Many leagues doesn't feel like send def to their members if there is no walls and such there either. Because DEF vs OFF when there is no bonus to DEF is terrible. 


More fights better for the game. People just hide in catacombs and spend their resources to avoid loss's, not so much good game play.

Declined. Each player receives about 5600 Sapphires just for Tutorial quests, and can build walls or other Defensive structures using them. There's no need to add a Defensive Bonus to the Keep itself as it wouldn't be that high anyway.

Might I ask over how long a duration,  you get those 5600 sapphires, or is that something new? Because even if I look back, I can't really remember it did total up to 5600 sapphires doing the tutorial. I think 4-5 wall pieces was what I was left with after doing the tutorial stuff last year.

Would like to be able see what units are incoming...might even be willing to purchase said item from the black market should one be created. How about two items one to be able to see incoming unit types for 4 hrs 8hrs (or btr 8 hrs 1 day?)


Declined. We have received many suggestions about spying on an incoming attack, but all of them were declined. It would kill all the fun in the game. It's not interesting to play when you know exactly if you will be attacked by 1 Unit or 1000 Units.

If this game can offer 5000 sapphires every week to a player for holding highest number of Sieges and give Siege ranking, 


This game can also introduce Liberate ranking and offer 5000 sapphires every week to a player for liberating highest number of castles   in that week.


That could be interesting. I will pass your suggestion to our devs.

Hi all.. 

I have a query and suggestion if I may...

The Hero's.... we have the Key's and chest's for the Hero's... but.. It seem's the key's have no meaning after you've opened a few chests???

I play on Both Maps and have over 20 common key's spare on both Maps?!?!...

I also have a few uncommon and even rare key's that I have no need for whatsoever..

I won't even bother opening the chest's anymore as it takes 3-6 hours to sell the damned things...

There's a huge 'GAP'... is there any chance we could possibly exchange our common key's for mythical or something??

Something like 10 common key's gets you a rare key or mythical and then 5 rare ones gets you a mythical or even 5 common get you uncommon

and then 5 uncommon get you the one above etc etc????

please get some sort of payoff sorted for this as you may be able to see all the players will have 20 odd key's spare doing absolutley nothing..

It's up to you - what to do with your Keys. Of course, if you have already collected all equipment, you don't have to open Chests anymore. however, as you level-up, you will be able to equip more powerful Items.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH STEWART here....  

 it's pointless having a million smaller wands for the P2P player's and we can't even use them anymore?!?!?!!??!


SO PLEASE LET US EXCHANGE LEVEL 8 WANDS FOR LEVELS HIGHER.... 5:1 RATIO WORKS WELL....


ALTHOUGH THIS TOO WILL BE A PROBLEM AFTER TOO???

You could ask the attacker how fun it is, to arrive at target with no one defending and the owner put all his units in catas, because defending is not worth the while though.

Thats more of a personal opinion than a fact. I think it would help level the playing field and encourage more players to defend.

Applying this logic to offense would therefore remove all spying because.........It would kill all the fun in the game. It's not interesting to play if you know if you are attacking 1 Unit or 1000 Units. So we should be going in blind in all attacks.

Do you see why so many people believe this is so skewed in favor of the attacker. 

Please rethink this strategy.


Let's see what other players think of this idea then. If they support it, then why not?

Let's see what other players think of this idea then. If they support it, then why not? 

NO, and NO NO NO.... We don't need more black market items. Particular for this aspect of the game. If the devs can't make any solution using excisting units like SPIES. That would been a very valid tactics using your spies. then there is no reason you can make it a magic thing with spending sapphires.


I really HATE it when we get a NO regarding certain aspects of the game, and then some time later a black market item appear with a sapphire cost that does close to or the exact ability we asked for. 


If it would "kill the fun in the game" doing it for free and make it available for everyone. It certainly would KILL the game if make it available at a sapphire cost.

Given ample time, Im quite sure I can present you a list of a lot of signatures of players that would stand behind what I said above. Would that make me a leader of a group? On another note, I ran a gaming community for about a decade now, that play a lot of games together, even a few of the members does play Stormfall.


You don't know me, or what I do, or who I could be speaking on behalf of. If there is more than 1 that feel the same about something, it become we though. We doesn't mean everyone.

Hey, I know this will sound very childish but.. Hello,

first allow me to say congratulations on the game, it's pretty awesome and neat, really appealing and good, and although it has few bugs here and there, overall its pretty good.

second:


I have 2x main suggestions so far playing into the game, although I'm level 32.

1- if its possible, can you create a better quality synced version of the game that players can download on their PC and run it, which is a lot better in terms of navigation and search and tabs clicking and animation and quality and rendering etc etc, and still be synced to your account ? 

that way players who are at home can log into the installed version of the game with high quality and enjoy the maximum experience of animation and rendering and graphics possible while still be able to log anywhere else to finish their daily quests and constructions etc etc,

so as a summary, if its possible, i know that your intention is for browser game, however this game is too beautiful and good to be ONLY in browser, the same idea that you have 2 versions of the game on mobile and on browser, try to add an extra version on the PC, i believe its easier now that you already have the server and templates installed on the browser, you basically need the UI and the frame and stuff 

im 100% sure that everyone and i mean EVERYONE will be pleased with the PC version if it has better quality and animation and render and graphics and resolution and navigation etc etc ( a little note : you can put a small fee of like 1$ to buy the PC client, that way if your total traffic is 20k players, and only 50% of them bought the pc version, thats 10,000 $ which i believe is a good cost for a small good quality pc client ) 


Unfortunately, we are not planning to make PC versions of our current games. It would require a lot of time and resources. However, our developers are working on several major improvements for our games which will increase performance and synchronization part. 


2- in the world map, i noticed a search( lens ) icon button, right above the earth icon ( which btw could use a tag name on mouseover like " view world " or something on it, since it dsnt say anything), the search button doesnt do anything, i do not know if its a bug from my end, or its intended like this ?? 
anyways the suggestion is to put a search bar where people can type the name of the person and then it will redirect him to his castle

it's really unproductive and a hassle, to only be able to write the coordinates of the person, or if you want to find someone you have to manually search the entire map, or if you want to find someone u know from previous fights or logs like ( he spied on u )  to go to grand marshal, then open the logs, then scrolling to see the one u want, then clicking it, then clicking the portrait.


Our developers have accepted this idea - to create a searchbar for friends, or League mates. However, it's almost impossible to implement at the moment. They are working on some improvements for the game which would allow us to include more dynamic features like a searchbar. So, we'll be waiting.



These are my suggestions, please if possible at least consider them

thank you for your awesome work, i still have many many ideas and suggestions and feedback on how to help improve this game into reaching its true potential, because this game is just awesome.

Your post is a classic example how to make an impact on the game and increase cooperation between players. 

I support every suggestion you've made and propose them to be taken into consideration.

If all players would constructively suggested improvements instead of nagging for every little thing Stormfall would become the best game in the world.

I don't feel like be the harbinger of bad news. But to release a stand a lone PC client is just not something they will do. Even if they had created something that just did open local in flashplayer independent of any browser, they still couldn't enhance graphics and style much at all, Because, the limitations they deal with is flash. 


It's not possible to take something like Stormfall and turn into the likes of age of wonders, endless legend and similar games. You would have to scratch the entire game and start over. If you look at projects running at like kickstarter, Patreon and similar. 10k USD wont get you far at all in terms of develop a client/game. Thats like pay for a programmer, designer, gfx artist and maybe freelance some audio for 1 month. And no one is able to make such a client you envision in such a short timespawn. 

Also develop a own stand a lone client carry a lot of work, testing and so on. There is TONS of PC configurations out there you had to make sure you compatible for. And as you got players using other platforms than PC, like Mac, Unix or whatever flash can be run on basicaly.

Then there is the business model. It doesn't support "sell" the client as well. If you look at other f2p games out there, the games is free to download and install, and usually have a cash shop, some more reasonable than others ingame. Cryptic Studios with their Neverwinter Nights and Star Trek Online as an example.


If you look at the games in thej Plarium library, its basicaly juist 1 core game with different reskins. Updates they push to one game, get adapted and pushed to the other games.

I posted a lot of constructive suggestions over time. Its very rare Plarium listen to the users. There been things we asked for, for a very long time, that we got told it cant be done, it will create inballance to the game and so on. For then items appear at the market with a sapphire cost offering the asked for features. That magicaly doesn't inballance the game anylonger when it carry a sapphire cost. Reasonable No?


Even you have to realise that a stand alone client such as he asked for will never happen with Stormfall. Maybe they go down that line with a new game sometime in the future. But to morph Stormfall how it is today into something like that, will just not happen. Both from a technical point of view and a economic one.


You're right at some points here. 

Our developers have a certain vision of the game, game mechanics and game balance. 

I am always glad to pass our players' suggestions to our developers. However, they take the ideas which may drastically change the game dynamics and mechanics with all due care. From the very beginning of Soldiers Inc game, our team has considered the specifics of interactions, their dynamics and conditions.

That's why some of the ideas which are aimed to alter the whole way of the gameplay are viewed in several stages, taking into account the analytics and researches from different departments.

And yes, we are not ready to create a standalone client for our current games. It is very complicated and would require a lot of time and resources. 

At this moment we actively develop several mobile projects, and one game from Mobile will soon appear on our site.
