This is more like an observation, not really a question, but your "player gatherings" thing doesn't work as intended seeing how people post in that thread.

Or well maybe one question related..

Why doesn't Plarium spend some sapphires and organize some fan fest type of thing and see if more than 5 people show up to hand out a flag too?

Hi! We're trying to support player gatherings and share their stories with us by sending them flags (or maybe other game related attributes). It's really great to know that our players meet in real life so at the end of the last year we've started to make something like this. It's quite new experience for our company so we're open for suggesrions. Can you please describe your idea more detail?

You get a place, you create a party, you invite players to attend said party. Maybe mingle with the players and spread some goodwill.

have some band, activities what not.

Of course that assume you have players sign up for the said event, and a ticket cost to attend is obvious.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about it, I like this idea :) It's quite different from the original message.

The thing is that in case with gatherings players can choose the place they want to meet (country, city) and the time that fits all leaguemates. Thus, many players from different countries can meet and get a flag for creating some special atmosphere.

If the time and place would be set by the company, very few players could visit such event, I'm afraid.

Also, when can we see something concrete done against bots. Because now they advertise with XP boosts for tournaments and similar as well, and we already seen from past tournaments bots actually won some of them. How should that even be possible? Plarium claim this a game of tactics and strategy, its hard enough to compete vs big coiners. Keep ban the ones sending out spam mail about the offers doesn work. You cut off one head and a new one appear, you need to cut off all the arms, legs, everything.

There is well known bots reported over a year ago that still in the game. The old story about report them, doesn't work because. they still there. Should think that Plarium had good enough tools to datamine their own games to deal with this bot activity. It's not really fair towards the players.

EVE-Online have fan fests on Iceland. Doesn't stop thousands of fans attend every time. From all over the world, and the event last for several days.

Take a look at your demographcis of players. Then try find a place easy accessible and central by air plane. As with any events, people will travel to them. If you afraid of few will show up, you start with something small, if its a success you do something bigger next time. You don't make just a Stormfall gathering/meet, you make  Plarium one, so players from all your games attend. First steps could be send out a survey and just check interest for any such.

Its more likely Plarium make an event for players to attend to than actual players does it.

It takes some time to implement a new feature into the game. We need to create it, analize, designers need time to draw it in to the current UI and all these actions (and much more) should be synchronyzed. As soon as we release some of your suggestions, we post a newspost about it.

Unfortunately, I can tell the exact timeframes. We're constantly working on them with different priorities, and we really appreciate your willingness to improve the game!

also as a follow up regarding the bots. There is accusations going on that Plarium is behind the bots, and just another source of revenue. I'm not really buying into that, but there is those that do, and with players see nothing happening with bot issues, they start draw their own conclusion, and it doesn't really help how they view Plarium.
