I was insulted, my army size or how I use my units was insulted by a guy who spent countless thousands of dollars on the game, and I was left thinking what the actual f$#@. Take what you can from this, but if you decide to join this league and the Marshal sends this guy to talk to you, well, you know what to expect.

Spoken like a true farmer---imagine a thinking ,smart enemy that was looking to engage you by leaving troops in fiefs waiting for you for hours(while you went back to farming, surprise!)? Imagine attacking a player to test their game knowledge, and fighting ability?

And learn to fight bigger enemies. Claiming someone is a coiner in a pay to win game is failure and a lack of imagination.

I have been in BR for about 7 years and I do not know you. Seems you started out with falsehood which Sorton obviously spotted, and tested you. You can earn your spot here, but you must fight, not whine, and definetly not claim "bullying" on the forums(which is exactly what this post is). THERE IS NO BULLYING IN A PAY TO WIN GAME!

Be sure to join any of the the current top ten leagues who hate BR to seek your revenge. Wait, that's all of them! They have been plotting our downfall for years. Maybe one day they will get their revenge on our abandoned castle in 10 years when we all quit from boredom. We need farms.

BTW- we invite people alot- we have a 10 million defense minimum or  a "sponsorship" system. We invite noobs and teach them, train them, and supply them but they must EARN their place here. I know that is a crazy concept.

The thing with mega coiners is that they general have massive personality flaws. It just isn't rational or logical to sink tends of thousands into this very poor game.

 I am a mega coiner. $35  in 5 years. 

Our current leader $100 in 5 years. 

Our greatest Captain (Azurina)  $0.

Sure we have Bob who is a top coiner--but Bob ONLY attacks beacons and fortresses. He does no BGs, no points in league tourneys, and rarely talks in chat. (has he attacked anything in 2 years?)

 We win league tourneys etc with teamwork. Our Captains are voted in by other captains (unanimously or they are not elevated), and all major decisions are put to a Capts vote. We hold weekly meetings open to ALL members to get input from all our members.

We have no allies--we allow our players to attack where and what they want. 

Karma is a b#tch I agree. And it is Karma why we sit on top. We never had allies, we do not recruit farmers, we do not promote people who do not deserve it (no matter how big their army), we do boot people who can not follow basic teamwork guidelines (no matter how big they are), and we keep fun first. BR is not about winning it is about fun.

Every other league on Untamed Lands and probably other servers has major problems that are their own fault. They do not keep fun first, they lack good officers and good fighters, they lack teamwork and leadership and ONLY fight easy targets and claim they are winning! Their officers and or leader are simply in that position because they have big armies and manipulate their league mates for their OWN selfish reasons. The number 1 requirement for an officer or a leader should be to put their league first BEFORE their own personal game goals. 

Our record stands for itself---we have had coalitions of 10+ league attack just BR. We did not form allies or beg them to stop. Lol. We just were smart and fought until everyone in their coalition begs for mercy, stops attacking us because all their guys are sick of losing troops, or falls apart.

This is a war game. If you have an allied league--your a farmer--if you only attack players/leagues smaller then you---your a farmer---if you whine in mails or forums about enemies--your a farmer. That is the truth.

Please tell all your friends---recruit people to attack us, from our server, other server, other games etc. We welcome war, every day, all day. Come take down our fort, spend 200K to do it. We will not care. No one will quit BR, we will rebuild and continue to fight. Winning or losing means nothing. Keep fun first.

He has every right to be annoyed at an obvious farmer, and most likely spy, trying to join our league. This happens to BR all the time, and my officers get sick of dealing with kids, idiots and or spys.

You must be new to getting hate mail if you think what Sorton said is offensive. I have received numerous insults to my mother, my wife, and kids in hate mail--and some of my members have even received death threats (which was duly reported and offending player warned by Plarium). I hjave been threatened with arrest, hacking threats, and accused of being a sexual predator. Par for course. Shrugs. 

Unlike most league, we actually have standards for how our players act in hate mail which is clearly stated in our charter. I have reported obscene hate mail to many league leaders with never a satisfactory answer from those leagues leaders, but it's their league--not mine--and they can conduct their business as they see fit. 

I do not send hate mail even though I receive the MOST hate in game by a wide margin---I will just attack every player in your league 3-5 times a day for a year and post all the hate mail in my league chat to laugh at.

You remind me of someone. You lie and when caught lying you wont even acknowledge it (7 years in BR). Then you make claims that are most likely false ("I receive the MOST hate in game by a wide margin"). Use "fake news" and "witch hunt" in your posts and you are one tangerine with a blond toupee.

Discussions are good, but it is rare that there's no edge to the sword and many are prepared to cut and slice before understanding what is said because they have some ill feeling.

Enjoy the game guys. Use your skills and strategy to make you smile but don't get upset when your best plans fail because you were outsmarted. I will say that there's some smart guys out there in many different leagues and this is what makes things challenging. LotBR and LJ have no allies and yet they do well. BDL are strong and DP and KT are not far behind.

It is a war game and we are meant to plan and enact encounters with others.

The verbal interactions we have with others adds to the interest in the game - for better or worse.

BR is my league - yes, i claim ownership, it would be nothing without its members and each of us should claim ownership. If we don't, then are we really a part of the team?

I was lucky enough to join them when I first came to the game. They have always been supportive and taught me what to do. I know other leagues don't do this. Members will donate units for smaller members to kill so they can get points. Scrolls are traded or given freely if necessary, as are resources. Advice and tactics are taught to those who ask, even known spies. :) We figure this will make the game better.

Why do we post here? hahaha probably because we are bored and have nothing better to do!!  Have a great game.

This is a war game and it was created for people who love strategy. As a war game it is not suitable for those people, so called farmers, because they will always find something or someone to complain about.

You want to gather resources only for your self, building army that will get rusty in your catacombs, not getting never in a battle? eh well....you have chosen the wrong game.

No need to be a coiner to be a good player. You can have all the money in the world and still get slapped by someone who really knows strategy.

I was blamed and lost "friends" after I joined BR...but you know what? I don't care. I never felt so free to play the game the way I always wanted.

You hit me? - I eat you alive.....all this without passing thru that painful process of diplomacy which means "speak with a captain that will speak with the marshal to evaluate the situation and maybe one day you will get an answer from that captain you sent the complain first"...

BR is freedom, is a strong team thinking and working together, is strategy, it's fun.... and it's my league.

For all those hating BR for one reason or other (not that I care), please fill up the report you see in the down picture and forward it to one of our captains 

Regarding those who put in tens of thousands of dollars in the game.

I have played mmrpg games for years. The biggest problem with people, especially the so called experienced, veteran players is their PERSONAlizing the game. BR is a fighting league, I don't like them, hell I hate this Nickel banana with passion. But let's be honest. There is nothing wrong with sorton's vetting system.

BR is a fighting league. What you actually showed Sorton is that you're an extrovert, you like to follow orders, and as he put it, you are entitled. 

I am sorry if I offended you, but I find that many people in this game(forum) like to take everything too personal that they fail to see the bigger picture. We're all here to have fun. If my having fun is spending 1$ every hour and being a bully, fine. Is all for fun. 

How you subjectively define fun has no bearing on this game. But it does have a bearing on a league. Objectivity matters in a league. 

As much as I want to judge. I too won't have wanted sorton in my league, or play in a league that values his character.

 I find BR play style too foolish and of bad taste. But that doesn't mean I should always carry this mentality EVERYWHERE.

I did apply with BR when Ted was around, But he didn't response in time. So I went to Gem since I kind started there. Not that I play much. I haven't done much in these game since last year.

But I am proud that I haven't spend a cent on sever 2, and managed to get SOO far. Not that it matters, I never do anything there. But when I have time, and if Plarium does show sign of improvement I will play seriously. Maybe even spend some $ or so, this time on MY castle. 

But alas Plarium will never improve.
