I am hoping that all Plarium players know what happened to the Marshal of Emperors and her league. I am also hoping that Plarium is ready and able to do something about the person or group of people involved and take them from the game.
Some things are just beyond part of a game and should never be tolerated. As far as my knowledge goes this is at least the second time it has happened and this would be a perfect case to make an example of.

This is the second time I know of that its happened this year. The first instance of a marshall's account being hijacked happened in August and you can see the details on the thread titled Account Hack 2017 under bug reports. In that instance, the affected player stated that someone compromised their email account and used that access to lock them out of their Stormfall account. Plarium was not able to effectively help in recovering the account and ruled that they were not responsible because the system that was compromised was the player's email, which is outside Plarium's control. The player did eventually get his account back with the aid of friends and collegues pressuring the hijacker to return it.
While I can understand Plarium's stance of claiming they are not responsible for compromises of a 3rd party, I do think they need to give us tools to better protect ourselves. Anyone who compromises your email can exploit Plarium's password reset to lock you out of your account. If Plarium gave us an option for multi-factor authentication, such as sending a code to your mobile device that would have to be verified prior to allowing any log in from a different IP or any change to your account info it would simultaneously give us better tools to protect our accounts and make account sharing much harder.
With the current incident, Plarium did state on the forum that Frenzie's account was hacked. The investigation is still ongoing.
