Is there any info on fortress upgrade cost from level 0 to level 5 in glory points and/or sapphires for each level. For small league its impossible to build it to level 5 so i need to know if possible exact costs to get there or leave it on level 0.

I know that there was lost of discussion early on about attacking certain level fortresses in order to upgrade your leagues fortress.
I didn't really understand their question but in reading it I came up with a question of my own.
To start it off.
EXAMPLE: Your fortress is at Level 10 and I need to downgrade another leagues level 10 in order to upgrade to level 11. I look for another leagues level 10 but find a league fortress leveled to 20. I manage to downgrade that leagues level 20 fortress to level 19 and get the achievement required to level my fortress to 11.
QUESTION: When I go to level my fortress from level 11 to level 12 will I have to downgrade a fortress level 11 or higher? Will our league have to continue to level down fortresses every time we go to upgrade our fortress? After we have already downgraded that level 20 to level 19 does that achievement carry over to each fortress level upgrade attempt from here on out?

Yes every upgrade over lvl 9 needs to take down an other fortres but that not all. You will need an X number of beacons also depending on the level and other stuff. its up to 4 requirements including the glorypoints.

So if a fort was a lvl 5 that had been upgraded to a lvl6 and then taken down back to five....if that fort at lvl5 then downgrades a lvl 6 does that count towards the next upgrade?
or msut that fort already be at a lvl6 prior to downgrading a lvl 6? even if had previous been lvl 6.

It should be level 6 at the moment you downgrade another Fortress to upgrade your own. Let's look at the examples:
1) Your Fortress is level 6. To upgrade it to level 7 you need to downgrade a rival Fortress.
2) Your Fortress was downgraded.
3) You downgraded a rival Fortress. It won't count towards level 7 requirements.
4) You upgrade your Fortress to level 6.
5) You downgrade a rival Fortress. Now it does count.
