Why are new players penalized?

Why are new players penalized with not achievable Mar'eth quests? I am level 61 and only three weeks playing. Yesterday I achieved Chivalry. Today my Mar'eth quests demand that I train 10 Warlocks. There is no way that can be done. It will take 22 scroll or over 3 weeks in the meanwhile I lose 1 Daily Mar'eth Quest each day. That is an absolute rip off. How can this be fixed. It is extremely discouraging. Either allow us to purchase them or eliminate that from the daily quests.

you are right about mareth quests that cannot be completed, not even just for new players

1)  Look how many of those tasks depend on being in a league, if one chooses not to be in a league he misses out.

2)  Some tasks depend on there being active players on the hamlets.  Most often there are not, most people are tired of getting blasted to bits in them.

I think everyone gets the same random mareth quests.

Hello :)

Mar'eth quests are the additional opportunity to get some Rewards.

Not all of them can be easily completed at once and by all players. Some Quests are a good motivation to develop your Castle faster and Quest with Warlocks is one of such examples.

For now, just focus on the Quests you can do and in time there won't be Quests you can't complete at all.

It would be better if these quests was within reach of the current skills of the player. That way you get the player to spend more time online play the game. Not give the player something he/she can do in X months down the line.

You may have made a costly mistake reaching level 61 within 3 weeks

There are more important things than Mareth quests - now that you have reached the top tier you will never again see easy tournament sapphires because you are competing against the strongest players in the game

Much better if you had avoided free experience points and remained in the level 51-60 tier for as long as possible, at least until you built up your strength and castle defenses

Yep, it can be helpful to stay at low level for the tournaments.  I'm not sure how many sapphires you actually get from that though, so it may not be that big of a deal.

Hello brunson,

I advise you not to worry too much about the mareth quests. The weekly reward of 100 sapphires is pretty negligible in my opinion. The best way to train an army is to learn how to use the BGs well.

The English way seems pretty risky for everyone. Are you forgetting that you have allies ? I seriously doubt that this strategy can be effective in the long term. Already hanging, some might want to eat you raw.

Battlegrounds is a loss, loss venture resouce for resource though. Its at best trade up inferior units for better units at higher resource cost, and chance is you get units that you don't have scrolls for and would be silly to end up use because you cant level them yet.

Now that troops don't die if you run out of food, there's not as much reason to trade from lower to higher level units, especially if you don't have the higher ones upgraded.  Of course you can always save them up for once you unlock and upgrade them.

No, but if you accumulate to much of them, they still consume food and that would dip into the food you got available for all kinda of other stuff as well.

Well, thats nice BUT, when said development take a lot of time... it just lock the player out of content/things to do. You should think the most valuable thing you could do is to make sure the player stay online and do as many clicks he can in a session.

I have nothing to add to my previous reply. As I said, some Quests were added to motivate players to develop their Castles faster.

Plus, the majority of the Quests still can be completed by all players.

True.  Most high level players just get food from raids instead of relying on their castles own production though.

In this case we are not talking about high level players though.

Dear Lords

i think mareth quest are not all of them to be done every day. you have to choose those of them what can be worth and be done and forgot the rest of them

i always try to complete the divine missions quest, kill 5 battlegrounds where you get 5 hero items to complete sell hero items, xp quest, activate parangon status (this is easy with league daily reward) accept one war request for ur league, kill 8000 points

i always leave abouth hamlets harvest, train necros mainly cause i have a huge amount of demons on queue (hey alina, tell devs to switch every day between necros and demons, could be nice)

so all lords should focus in those what can be done and dont try to do all of them every day

Regards

Already asked devs to add defensive Units to this Quest as well and they accepted this suggestion :)
