Empty Raids

Just raided two castles that I had spied, lots of resources, and I was at 0/50,000 on raiding these castles. The raids came back totally empty of all resources. Anybody have any ideas?

lol what????

To answer the question if you are using the "start a battle" feature in the bottom left corner of your screen it has never worked properly, also if you are raiding farms on a regular basis you can only take 50k resources per week (or 100k if the raid is pushed) but a week is a week down to the second so if you raided a bit later 7 days ago as you did the day you got 0 resources then 7 days had not transpired completely

This feature has been bugged since I started playing, but I regularly exploit it when I'm feeling extra lazy and want to complete personal events quicker, not raid out as far, so I've not officially complained about it. The available raid resource counters reset at midnight, for me anyway, where I can send a raid, push it, get the caravan limit (fifty thousand) repeatedly for as long as the castle has enough resources, then get the full one hundred thousand once the time after my previous full raid has reached exactly a week.

Hello.

Lady Jezebel is right.

You need to make sure that 7 days completely passed since the moment you Raided this Castle for the last time and only after that you'll be able to raid it again.

Except that you can send food at any time to bypass the 50k per week limit, I send a lot of my unwanted food to bots and empty castles to keep them fed

If your opponent is active he can send and cancel 50k to you, which can result in zero resources collected

you don't know how to push a raid to take 100k?  I raid for food so this is senseless to me & one of the first things i learned in the game was to find enough farms surrounding my castle to raid daily for an entire week without hitting the same castle twice

I can take 100k any time I choose, but am often too lazy

I usually have maxed resources on some servers so only raid for quests - on other servers I dont have time to wait 3 hours, so take shortcuts and can get half million from one castle in a few minutes

and I always have massive resources stored in Black Market

.... but none of this answers the main question - Why does Start a Battle show 0/50,000 and then give zero?
Shouldn't it give a warning mesage before we send the raid?
This is a bug

This is a bug

I've always gotten a warning pop up if I'm trying to raid a castle (or send res to a castle) and have already maxed the amount I can take (or give).  I suppose if your browser has a pop up blocker, that could prevent you from seeing the warning?

The bigger issue I see is the thread arbitrarily being moved without any explanation of the cause and why this is not a bug.

Dear Lords

always try to send the raid from keep on contacts tab from there and directly on map the warning should appear, or at leas appears to me for every time i try to raid to a lord that still has not passed the 7 days

also could be nice to have a spreadsheet to control the castles you raid taking note of their capacities and the day u raid them

hope this can be useful for u

Regards

I use pop-up blockers on chrome but it does not stop game pop-ups.

The warning will only appear if the game thinks you have reached your limit, not when it shows zero

There must be a bug somewhere, not a feature, but devs dont always agree, or have a secret agenda
Maybe VIP could help instead?

The only way to avoid this bug is wait an extra day, or send food ... but this restricts you to 50k raids, not 100k

The game pop ups happen within the game, so a browser pop up blocker won't have any effect on them.

Hello.

The topic was moved as Support team doesn't explain why it's not a bug if the reported issue is not a bug. They're working with Bug reports only.

The topic is not deleted but moved to the Game discussion thread, where you received the explanation of this question.

*opens mouth to dispute that no actual explanation was given to explain why this is not a bug, realizes that, if one squints sideways, it was admitted to be a poorly designed "feature" with the ability to tell time no greater than that of a toddler who is aware of the day something will happen but not specifically when in the day it will occur, slowly closes mouth and wanders off*

It's definitely not a bug, because if it was a bug then support would have to fix it ;)
