I would like to ask for some advice here. So, I'm at lv35 now, should I just keep on upgrading productions first?

it sounds like a rude answer...
but the best answer to this question is join a league.
and have patience. this game takes time. there isnt any right way to play the game or right order to build your castle.

If you follow the tutorial quests you will get free stuff, like resources, boosts and units
You will also get extra credits for some of the mareth quests like 'complete 20 quests' etc
I upgraded 3 farms as high as possible when I had food shortages, which left 3 to be upgraded for the tutorials
We now get double resources for raiding the lowest level castles (is this a bug?)
You should get 1900/1900/1900 from every raid which always used to be 950/950/950 so you should not need to rely so heavily on resource production

Joining a league is a good idea.

Hi!
Try to upgrade resources buildings, then barns and warehouses, develop lost arts in their order and here at lost arts ask for help in the league who has available scrolls, make those 10 raids daily and try to get from them as much resources as you can, keep your offence in catacombs and complete as many tasks possible you have in the game at your level. Be active and patient and all will be fine.

i tried to join a league it said i need to be lv 50 to join a league???????????? i no that is wrong as iv already been in a league im lv 43

Dear Lord
sure the league u are trying to join asks for levels 50 and higher
you have to wait to be level 50 to join that league or find another league that ask for lords with your level

Hello.
Some Leagues can set a requirement on the Level you should reach in the game to join their League.
You can either look for another League which will accept players with the lower level or wait till you reach the required Level.
I would recommend looking for another League as I know there are Leagues who would be happy to add new members to their team :)The topic is locked. You cannot post comments.
