Fortresses will be next .... you won't have to wait long

Just wait 'till the coiners get their grubby hands on hi-grade Champions giving them +112.5% on total offense power (not baseline strength)

Instantly and Permanently turning an 80 million offense into 170 million offense

Well....  can't say I'm to surprised. No becons, no forts... what next? It will cost so so much to get BG's over a certain level? Better not give them any ideas....

It depends on whether the bonus adds up or multiplies.

If the bonus adds up (which is often the case with unit bonuses), then the army will grow from 80 million to around 100-110 million, which would already be a lot.

Yep, even that would be a big increase for the people who already have billions of offense.

if thats true, im out.  theres no point in playing anymore.  the fortress was the last bastion of team work left in the game.

constantly having to develop new players and large defenses to replace players who have quit.

it takes an entire league to hold a high level fortress.    now, its only gonna take 1 person to take it down.    Im done at that point.

Hello.

There is an attack limit for Fortresses and there is the limit for League Attacks.

Plus, don't forget that there are also Champions for Fortress and Beacons Defense. And they are also quite powerful.

Also, in case of Champions, a lot depends on random. Actually, the chance that you will receive so many Champions of Beacons/Fortress Offense type that it will give your Army huge Bonuses is close to none.

I understand it's easier to see negative in everything, but Champions can give a lot of Bonuses to Defenders as well.

its like gadheras keeps saying.  you have no idea what its like to play on a server with no coiners when you confine yourself to the test server.   there is no chanc to obtain one through game play.  but im sure you.ll be able to coin one.  or 30.

As DJmoody said, y ou are either trolling us, or you are clueless about real life game play.

You kinda have to blame the whole company for that, targeting a cm is kinda fruitless. Those in the business of making games, or at least the serious ones, they try to keep a certain level of quality assurance to make sure the game will offer a good experience for the players, the customers. On the servers we are playing at we see population decline, friends quitting the game and move onto something else, not so much they don't like the idea of the game any longer, but more of the hate or sadness of what it become. Plarium could have taken a lesson from the whole drama in regards of Battlefront 2 that did happen. Silence the players rather than listen to them is bad for business to when they are the ones that make sure your bills get paid end of the day.

as for becons and fortress's. To level a fortress to a given level, you need so, so many becons at a set level. Now when there is no hope and chance for any league on the server any longer to achieve this because of the size of hammers out there ready to smash. A large chunk of the game play been removed from play. The standard reply of Plarium is all it takes is for leagues and players to work together to achieve............. things. Now that is a wonderful dream and hope, but its a far stretch from reality. As with world else, its the 1% that sit on the majority of wealth and riches. One huge coiner can be the very backbone of a league and ensure its success.

When your foes is armed with tactical nukes and your league got sticks and stones... numbers mean nothing. And by chance if you can muster the forces and something major happen. It give a sour taste of victory, an after taste of foulness when the player(s), you took part in defeat swiped their credit card and got their army back, because they could afford to. While you and your merry band of brothers (and sisters), have like 440+ days worth of building units to get back to where you once was. So I ask you Alina/Plarium, how does that make for good game play and experience?

whales got hunted until almost extinction. Something worth remembering, as when t hey run out of food, they would grow extinct in your games too. The food being the common knaves playing the game else.

plarium didnt give us access to the developers or strategists.  They put the CM as the go between.   The CM is our only link to plarium.    Supposedly our concerns are pushed up the pipe by the CM.

if we are giving the CM hell about their handicaps, they need to be pushing that up the pipe.  they need to be telling the dept heads that the CMs need to experience live game play in the world with the players.

if targetting the CM is fruitless, its the failure of the CM.

No, its the failure of the company. CM's is restricted in what they can do. They can pass on thoughts, ideas and what not from the players, but that doesn't mean much when there is no regard what so ever where they deliver it. Or at least that is the perception.

Beacons are toast, so is most of the content in this game. There is no fun or entertainment in it anymore.   Every aspect of this game is unbalanced whether you coin or don't.

So in that statement are you guaranteeing that Champions features will only obtainable from in game activity and not from the market?

If that isn't the case then the response is just a giant troll. People are posting concern the update will be another widening of the coiner imbalance. If your post is saying that it will be really difficult to make any progress by in-game activity then you are in fact saying the imbalance caused will be even more than people fear and exactly what everyone is concerned about and counseling against.

Hello.

To get a Champion, you will need to use a Summoning Bond.

These Bonds can be received either via game or via the in-game purchases. But it doesn't matter how you received a Bond, the type and rank of the Champion you'll get from it is determined randomly.

So, if a player gets a Bond via the in-game purchase, he can't be 100% sure he will receive a Champion he wants to receive (in our case Fortress/Beacons Offense).

So buying one is a gamble - no guarantee on your purchase? I will keep my cash thanks ....

Unless you play on one of the servers where your customers play you have no idea about how unbalanced the game really is - that is and always has been the problem - no one is interested in hearing from the people who actually play - responses are always excused to justify how the game has been developed

If a coiner is determined to get a Grade 5 Stonebreaker (Fort Smasher) then I am quite certain that they will continue buying Special Offer Packs until they get one. This is exactly what your army of accountants are hoping for, and why your devs designed it this way on Age of War

We will all need multiple Champions of various Grades, Ranks and Level because we will need to 'Sacrifice' many unwanted chamions to increase the Rank or Enlightenment of our favourite champions - but we can never upgrade the Grade of any champion - http://prntscr.com/i5nf9n

Non-Coiners will never have Grade 5 Sappers
The very best that most non-coiners can hope for is a Grade 3 Sapper, which even after upgrading to maximum will only add 33.75% to Fort defense, not 112.5%
and every league member will need to send one to the fort ... but an attacker only needs one stonebreaker

How fortunate for Rise of Balur players, where they can get ANY champion for free, even if it will take them a long time, unless they are lucky enough

It's possible to get Holy and Epic Bonds from fights with Undeads as well.

Though, as you said, it will take a long time, unless you're are lucky enough.

I wish that were true, but can you show any evidence of this?

I have already posted screenshots where Holy Bonds are only available from Special Offers, anf that Epic Bonds cost 200 Emeralds

Only the BASIC bonds drop from undead battleground fights for FREE

We also have the exact same problem with Orbs, where grades 4 and 5 are only for coiners
