That definitely sounds interesting, but of course it would require plarium to completely redo the castle upgrading system (and find away to compensate players who did upgrades under the old system).  I'm sure there would be some upset players if you could wipe out 500k sapphires worth of building upgrades in a single attack :P

i suggest a simultaneous input of commands, then when both players have put in their commands the battle commences.  that way both players are blind to the other players movements until the turn is over.  players would react to the outcome of the maneuver and not be privy to tactics beforehand.

@ biohazard:  if it was in a specific dueling map with terrain, both the home castles would not be touched, plus both parties can be equal by terrain and troops.  the emphasis is on the tactics of the arena.

I support bring you commander to fight another player, but if you lose. You lose some of your gear to the winner (they get free pick)..... To the victor the spoils... Or you lose levels of your commander. Risk vs Reward......


pvp without consequence is retarded and stupid.
