Sapphire income output
This is suppose to be a discussion over a suggestion, that is not to say it can't go hand in hand.
What would happen if sapphires were attached to league quests at 2x the rate of tomes (10-20-50-100) I doubt it would happen, but allowing all players/leagues the chance to get 100 sapphires per day I think would greatly increase activity, would also mean that people are more likely to push league quests such as battlegrounds and kill units to elite rewards because it is a league wide benefit.
I don't think this would even come close to break the ecosystem as even after 1 month of straight elite rewards its only 3k sapphires but those 3k sapphires combined with tournaments might be enough for a new player to get that skin they wanted desperately, or improve their walls... Buy a few castle guards etc.
In general things keep getting added to the game that force players to use sapphires, it's undeniable that sketches for example are realistically out of the range of non-coiners, no one will wait several months to get 1 building upgrade... But that is another topic
People have been asking for a reason to log in more often considering that there is so many updates to make the game autonomous, auto catacomb - weors protection etc etc, so sometimes its just easier for people to put up some sapphires and walk away... Which is fine, except for the fact that the social aspect is absolutely crucial to the life of this game and Plarium in general. So what if something like this was introduced... The argument can be made that it will create a bigger gap between big leagues and small leagues and that it will give people incentive to create "spies" in others leagues.
I honestly don't think that will happen ANY MORE then it is now, I believe if anything it will just create another reason for your league to be online more, maybe talk more, interact and strive for more... League rewards are meant to touch on that, but it feels kind of trivial especially to bigger leagues.
Another simple example of this concept that could be applied is raiding, instead of 5 paragon points give us like 15 sapphires, rewards activity and raiding other players, which could easily cause more units to die. This won't break the game and it will reward the active players and promote interaction.
If anything most people feel that a method of sapphire acquisition was removed with the hamlet update
