i dont know if its correct or not. you receive a scroll every day u log in game. sometimes u receive some of them doing the tutorial and that why sometimes could be more scrolls than days. not sure cause i dont remember when i started.

what u have to do is to see if you got the complete set of scrolls to study a lost art. you can check it on house of scrolls to see if have the complete set. or u can go to study the art clicking on the lost art button at right on the screen.

my tip is to study the art given as mission and upgrade it acording to missions given in ur tutorial window. in this way u are going to study and upgrading arts receiving troops and resources at the same time u complete one of them.
