Lag is Becoming Significantly Worse

And no response from Support. I am not willing to risk frying my CPU no matter how much I like a game, and if the problem is not resolved, I will not be able to continue playing.


The lag starts immediately after the loading screen finishes, and the more I advance my city, the more horrible the lag is. It is now to the point where each letter I type in either the chat or messages is delayed. Going into full screen mode helps A VERY SMALL AMOUNT. I have the animations turned off, as well as the sound and music. My internet connection is excellent and no other site is currently lagging.


I have no problems with other Flash games. I tried Chrome and Opera, same issue. I completely removed all traces of Flash Player, reinstalled it clean, then did the same with Firefox. Yes, I checked the Flash Player settings. I even removed my old video card driver and got the newest version available from Nvidia. Clearing the cache MAKES IT WORSE and I have still tried it multiple times because that's what everybody says to do, and what I've always known is the first thing to try when something goes wrong with a browser game.


At my wits' end here, as I am attempting to have a relaxing day off and I am beginning to believe I should of never tried this game out in the first place. Scouring the internet and applying every little suggestion related to Flash game issues I can find, then checking to see if there is any improvement is not relaxing. I just want to play, not troubleshoot with nothing to show for it for hours.

I have been speaking to longtime players, and, apparently, lag is generally accepted, although not to the degree I am experiencing. This is absolutely ridiculous. When you spend time waiting for simple graphics to load, more time waiting for even simpler windows to come up and be legible, continue to wait for the game to be responsive enough to accept input from the player, and end up spending more time waiting than actually doing anything, the game is fundamentally broken.

There are generally many reason why you may be experiencing lags, it could be the internet speed you use, particular the upload speed, make sure its over 28 KB/S, I find that lowering it below that create lags, I recommend that you use 3G internet speed, or if you can 4G. it can also be caused by your computer, is it old, or maybe you have a firebug problem. The best way to see and find what is wrong it to send a screenshot.


1. Access Chrome -> More Tools -> Developer Tools - http://screencast.com/t/dXnNlwFTV8y6

3. Try to access the game


4. Do the right click on any line and tick Save as HAR with content http://screencast.com/t/gxsrje20g


5. Input the following command in cmd: tracert plarium.hs.llnwd.net Then make a screenshot of it.


6. Send this information to our Support Team: http://support.plarium.com/Tickets/Submit/.


 while you wait for them to help you, you might try to use a friend PC to access the game, and also try using Puffin browser to access the game on your PC, or other 4G supporting browser. I also recommend that you demolish some stuffs in your cattle, 90% of all my friends who have lags have filled their cattle will decorations. Hopefully, you will find the real issue and get back into the game. Ivan from support is very helpful and he will get you back in and running in no time

Your reply was subtly insulting enough that I didn't even know how to respond at first, Oracle. No, it is not my internet connection. No, my system is not too slow to run such a simple game. No, I am not willing to use someone else's computer to play the game. And no, no, and NO to jumping through hoops for a problem that shouldn't even exist to begin with.

what lord Oracle said is completly right. you should create a HAR file to send it to support cause in that way they can assist you specifically in ur case.

some lords have more lag issues that others and with those files, support can investigate what is happening and assist you

also mention that lately seems that firefox has more problems with lag than others browsers. i use both firefox and chrome and i have less problems with chrome

please, control ur language and dont blame against people who wants to help you and offers you some tips.

follow the instructions to create a HAR file and send to support.

Predictable favoritism towards veteran players aside, I am now experiencing full freezes of the game that last for several minutes after only being logged in for a short duration. Playing is nearing the point of impossibility, and it was already crippled to begin with. I will continue on for a week, at best, but if there is no resolution or even an acceptable response from Support, I will drop the game, never try another game by Plarium, and recommend to those I know to steer clear. The market for games like this, including many that operate smoothly, is too vast to settle for a bug-riddled headache.


It's a shame, really, as the League I joined has been amazing, helpful, and friendly, and I feel great sympathy for those who have invested time and money, but are being left at loose ends, which has been everyone I have chatted with in the game.

Please try to understand without being at your computer keyboard it is not easy to determine your problem. Normal troubleshooting starts with clearing your browser cache. Close and reopen the game and browser. Then the most effective way to fix problem is to send a ticket to Support.

Plarium Support is the best I got, And they will help you, I couldn't access the game for a whole week, and they gave me the best solution, after I talked to a guy named Evan. he is the by far the best, He helped me with trouble shooting, and we found out that the actual problem was the DNS, it was sorted in less than 5 days


It seem you are not interested in getting help, and that is really bad. But I promise you there is not any other look alike plarium game, these is the best game you can get. The market is no longer targeting games like these,  and if you find a hardcore game like these, the graphics, the 3D elements will not even be as close as these. I have friends who have lags, and I get to experience how hard it is to have lags,  and I felt like helping you. But alas, you took my reply as an offense. But alas as I have said

perhaps this might help you a bit.

Try Maxthon Nitro browser. Its faster than Chrome and with little less catche. So, it might work despite your PC problems.

Are you dealing with the full screen glitch?  I play in firefox and if I try and play in the browser window so I can quickly and easily change tabs the game often lags to unplayable.  But if I go to full screen the game is fine with no lag.  Since I don't like full screen it took me months to learn this work around.  As long as I change back to full screen before I try to actually play the game it is fine.  Hate getting through the entry screens and popups though as the game is lagging till it is actually full screen and I quite often crash the system just trying to get the 2 inital popups off the screen so I can change to full screen.  Changing servers is horrible too because it takes you back to browser window lag hell and you have to fight to get back to full screen.


Lag is worst in the 11 am to 1:30 Pm and about 7 pm to 11 pm US mountain time if that helps.  Have checked my throughput and ping and it is good during those times.  I can stream 2 movies in the background and not make lag significantly worse while is window mode in the browser so connection speed shouldn't be any part of the issue.  But in full screen mode everything is totally fine.

I will never ever use Chrome, Fire Fox, Opera or any of the similar ones again!

It is really silly how big difference it is between them. It makes me really wonder why this is !?
Are the other companies coders so bad compared with those that coded Nitro Browser or
does NSA´s surveillance part of the other browsers slow down speed that much??
Maybe someone here knows why other companies give out browsers that are so slooow compared with Nitro??

Thank you for these suggestions.   I am going to try the new browser, as I have lag issues too.    I have tried three or four browsers now... I miss push raids, messages, chat and a lot more.      I will come back if none of this works.    I am wondering if someone can forward to my inbox, the name of the browser suggested, and those work arounds?

LOL reading this thread and the replies to the issue is utterly ridiculous


I have in the past experience minor lag issues but the past few days there has been a lag so bad that the game will freeze for 20 to 40 seconds while doing simple things in the game, and it is not isolated to any one thing, anything from sending troops on a raid to clicking on a daily reward in the black market, clicking on a daily quest, catacombing troops, etc, etc etc


It is not an issue with my system as this has only recently started


I know ... remove the spam that you throw at us constantly, pop ups to spend money on these new offers etc


I have said it before, if someone wants to spend money they will click on the icon we do need these pop ups during our game play
