My understanding is League names are unique- if someone really wants to do a parody of another league who really cares- imitation is the best form of flattery; and they are not trademarked (I am aware of some hardcore gamers looking to do so however).
Imitation of names has happened in all of the 20+ MMORPG's I have played in. And where do you draw the line? How do you distinguish between intent? I believe your league is King of Kings- what if I want to call my League say Killers of Kings (a name of an alliance in another game I played and was in for a period of time) and bring some of my old alliance mates over to play? Would this be a 'breach' because someone has determined (even though not the same name it is close) it upsets someones sensibilities? I have seen an alliance called Destiny's Path- if those guys came over with their name would this be a breach?
My opinion is that it is a game, have fun and imitation is the best form of flattery so just chill :)
There is a pretty big difference between a league coming over with it's own unique name, and someone making a league, with an Identical league emblem, and just adding a period before or after the name, especially when our sister league is called Destiny.
An imposter league making one called .Destiny and using our symbol is just blatent BS.
I'm all for people making their own leagues, with their own symbols, and making their own names. The issue occurs when someone so flagrantly abuses what they are allowed to do, when it's obvious to everyone out there what is being done and how it is incorrect.
To really bring this point home with some clarity, you're good with someone using this symbol: http://prntscr.com/bktyve
and calling themselves DEATH INC and running around hitting all of your league and your leagues allies.
