There is no additional requirement to go up to 6 only the points(don't remeber how many )..to take the fortess to lvl 7 you need to downgrade a fortess of lvl 6 or above and 22400 glory points ..then to go up to lvl 8 you need to downgrade a lvl 7 or above and 28800 glory points ...to go up to lvl 9 you need 36000 glory points no other requirement ..to go up to lvl 10 you need to downgrade a lvl 9 and the points (don't remember how many on this one also :P ).And this is as far as my knowledge about the fortess requirement goes .

Thanks that was what I was looking for, however isn't there a beacon required? I just can't remember what level that is.
