How can the reaver and the priestress have the same offencive value if have totaly deferent stats? in my opinion priestess its way beter on stas than reavers. there are other units that have same offence value but the stats are the same also, thoes are the pathfinders and the seekers.
To me its just other bug.
I'm actually confused with the question. If the question is about great lords and reavers I can kinda understand.
This was the official comparison given when 'amulet' units were introduced to the pirate game - the units are identical, but with different names etc

Anyway, yes, I agree with you. Priestess is a good deal on cavalries but it needs amulets to train. As for pathfinders, once you get ulrich's blade relic it's the best unit to get on infantries. Especially if you get 2 of em.Pathfinders, Reavers and Chimera were introduced as BG loading tools.
Outside of the pathfinder relic (which I think was introduced by mistake w/o understanding its power) there is no point to any of these troops other than BG loading (horrible res to power ratios, same power to time ratios - which is of course why they are good BG loaders).
