Caravan Capacity Issue

I now have the Thieves Guild. Here I am with a level 2 Thieves Guild and my carrying capacity is at 20 percent.  My Dominion is at level 6 that should allow 10 Sapphires per hour.

I am now getting either 1 or 3 Sapphires every time I capture a Jeweler's Hamlet. I was even getting 1 to 3 Sapphires BEFORE I had the Thieves Guild.

There is nobody else fighting for the Jeweler's Hamlet other than me.

Why am I getting this amount when I should be getting more? Am I missing something?

What Lord Mark is NOT telling you is that it is the troops that carry things back from hamlets not caravans so your thieves guild is irrelevant for this. How much your guys bring back is directly related to how many troops you send. The more you send the longer they will stay and the more sapphs they will return with........ Unless someone hits them. :-(

The Dominion studies mean they stay a slightly shorter time to get the same amount of sapphs.

Also since you are a new player please be aware that people hit hamlets during pvp for points DO NOT send heavy forces to a hamlet unless you can afford to lose them

Hamlets are better played with smaller amounts of troops sent more frequently - yes a pain to do it this way but your chances of collecting from them will be better doing it this way

Forget about trying to hold one for the amount of time in the Quests the troop loss will not be worth the rewards

So may I have an example of how many I should send at a time to gain a good amount of Sapphs?

I haven't played hamlets for a while but I was playing them when online and only sending 6 nomads or barbarians I think they returned to my castle after about 11 minutes - again the key is shorter time on the hamlets but sending more frequently - using lots of defense on a hamlet is just asking for someone to kill it for you :)

also you may eventually get a relic that increases carrying capacity for the Huntress troops if you play hamlets a lot it may be worth building those to use with the relic.

If you aren't getting hit when you get your 3 sapphs then whatever number you sent is a good example. You could try adding just a few more at a time and see how they get on.

I send 4 nomads, about half the time they get attacked and destroyed and slightly less than half will return after 8 minutes with 2 Sapphs.

I see you are from the Astral World. I'm not sure what time zone that is in but there are times of the day when I will have better luck than other times.

Just experiment and find what you are comfortable with.

The Astral world is not a location in this world. I'm an actual Pagan in real life. In my spiritual beliefs it's a different plane of existence. It's the spirit world actually.

I just say that location because I don't want people knowing where i really live. I don't feel comfortable telling people where I'm at in the globe.  I just roll with it. Lol

How much Sapphs do you all make on average?

honestly i dont play on the hamlets much for 2 reasons.

1. I am high level so everyone expects me to stack the hamlets and loose my troops which is a not interested in.

2. I find the return are not great at my level even if i dont loose a few troops

but at lower level i would say it is worth it and helps get a few sapphires but dont go the greedy path to put all your units there and get all the sapphires, since you will loose your troops if it is PvP and players start hitting your hamlet.

try to only collect from hamlets when you are online for a few hours. Atleast you will know when the player spies, so that you can pull out your troops and have no/lesser losses.

The other way Hamlets are good is if you have an Ally league member that you can send little defense they raid and leave a small defense and you raid back. Only takes minutes and both get credit for destroying enemy in Hamlet, but it prearranged and not expensive like it would be if someone else caught the action.
