I haven't tested it yet, but how I think it works, there's an extra percentaje of free for offensive troops that die if they were sitting on a castle that gets hit, but for the defensive troops is still the same.

If that's how, with the infirmary at lvl 16, which gives "50% for offense and 30% for defense", an example to explain it would be:

I have 100 archers defending my castle (not including reinforcements), then someone attacks me killing everything, just when I had 100 wyverns coming back from raids. After that I should see I can revive 30 archers and 50 wyverns for free.

There are many players who left the game because of forgetting to hide their offense in their catacombs, so this would give them a better oportunity, but a bit tooo much expensive...

I think your actual percentage you can revive is 30% and the upgrade will be the 35% of you troops. Not sure at all but let me check it.

Yeah, I think you're correct.

So its an update that helps out stupid people.... who coin.....

A very good player that catches offence returning to a castle now has their time and effort wasted by a stupid update. -1 for the Strategy game, +100 for pay to win. Horrid.

actually that won't affect the outcome of the raid, you'll still score some nice PvP when hitting a castle with off troops out of the catacombs.

He means because you can now revive more offense, so hitting someone as they are returning home isn't an option anymore... That combined with the auto catacomb essentially makes hitting returning offense impossible

i get that; regardless, i fail to see how the level of infirmary prevents you from raiding a player

No one said it prevents you,

DJ said it makes it essentially redundant to try to catch a returning players offense because now they can just coin the sketches and revive a bunch of it permanently, thus eliminating or nullifying the effectiveness of attempting to do it.

He is referring specifically to back "in the day" when you had to calculate and predict how a players offense was returning to wipe it out, now the strategy has been replaced by sketches allowing a much higher revival rate for a bunch of sapphires, and I added auto catacomb

but you'd only guess, at best, the returning time, since you can use boosts to speed up your troops.

i actually like the fact they can revive more off, if they were abstracted enough to leave them out the catacombs once, chances are it'll happen again.
