I chose to be a league of one, this handicaps me, I don’t get 3 wyverns every day, I don’t have DE, my citadel is level zero. It is what I chose and I have to live with the consequences.
I would have liked to have participated in the massacre. Two days ago KT captured 4 beacons in a row near me, they leveled one of them to 5, one of them to 3 and the two others to level 1. The next 1 beside them is also 1. That gives me three beacons to choose from. To take a swing at the beacons. If I had taken a beacon and dumped all my defense on it, I would like to have seen what the other smaller leagues in the area would have thrown at me, such as two worlds, iron clad and dragon’s heart.
The reason why I am not participating is because: there are no rewards in the massacre and it was stacked with bgs and hamlets. Hamlets! Had it been stacked with pvp and xp tournaments, I would have participated.
Establishment: a player after 1 ½ to 3 years in the game wants to feel a certain amount of establishment. The big leagues want their established beacon presence to be untouched as much as possible. They do not want their efforts in the game to simply be thrown away. As an individual neither do I. participating in this event is not worth throwing away 10 % of my troops that I have established.
Had the xp and pvp tournaments been stacked with the massacre I would have gladly participated.
There is no upside to the tournament, not for anyone, it is just a troop sink that takes away establishment.
There needs to be a balance between growth paths and troop sinks so that long term players can keep their establishment. Small leagues and individuals need establishment also.
If average players can grow and compete with mega coiners, guess what, mega coiners would need to spend more. But there has to be an upside for all players and zero rewards other than you only lose 10% of your troops, is a bit obvious.
Plarium has stated that the point to stormfall is epic battles. Meaning large equal armies going toe to toe. So make the epic battles worthwhile.

1. no rewards, bad, give rewards.
2. not 24 hr tournament. Someone will feel left out.
3. the one good thing, new beacon drops before tournament, for the small dogs to fight over the scraps. The drops were 24 hrs premature though, imo.
