King of Kings is:

  • One of the oldest leagues in the game
  • Holds the most territory on the map (at the time of update the post, holding approx 12.4km of the map, across 20 beacons)
  • Highly active and regularly has players many players who have claimed top 3 positions in weekly raiding and battlegrounds
  • Has the best knowledge of the game mechanics bar none

We are looking for:

  • Highly active players
  • Who wish to participate fully in our community
  • Will treat other player with respect
  • Want to learn and grow leveraging the significant knowledge, skills and experience within the league (we have some of THE best raiders and battlegrounders in the game)

What you can expect from us:

  • An active and fun community
  • Teamspeak 3 server
  • Participation in server's major wars, battles and beacon events
  • League Forum containing some of the best guides written for the game
  • Walls of defense from other members if you are raided/sieged
  • Significant dark essence allowance
  • Access to the league's "Battlegrounds solved" spreadsheet

As well as our unique culture and community, KoK can offer you insights into the game's mechanics that no other league can offer, from players that regularly top the weekly rankings.

For example, in the "Battlegrounds Solved" spreadsheet we have broken the battleground mechanics, derived the exact base loading values for BG's (not the wide ranges in the infestation table on the wiki), pulled it into a spreadsheet that allows you to track loaded resource and tells you exactly what troops you need to further load to drive a payout on the BG level of your choice. It is so awesome it has to be seen to be believed.

But don't take our word for it, see for yourself and join today.

*** Min Level requirement is 60 - Sister Leagues KoK Elite and KoK III available to lower level players ***

PS its funny looking back a year and half to the stories below. At the time those were big battles. Now they could be solo PvP :)  - good times though.

As an example of the kind of fun we get up to below are two battle reports from two wars we have recently fought. These reports are taken from the KoK forum.

If you were on the receiving end of either of these battles we hope that you can appreciate the tone in which they are written. Not trying to start a flame war, they are just a bit of fun. We appreciate the part you played in making this content and wish you well when we meet again.

BEACON WAR WITH ETERNAL CHAOS

As the dust settles, another day is written to the glorious histories of King of Kings.

Diplomatic negotiations had been ongoing between the leagues of Eternal Chaos and King of Kings in the week leading up to this monumental day. A rouge member of Eternal Chaos broke the fragile peace by attacking KoK beacons. Negotiations between alliance leaders faltered and Eternal Chaos made a full play for KoK beacons sending in significant defence.

Mighty warlord BigHurt decreed that the scum would be wiped off the map and charged his captains with re-taking beacon 45 and taking their level 5, beacon 65.

The captains went forth and summoned mighty armies from far and wide. As the troops poured into the forward staging areas morale was high. Softening attacks would be lead by the fierce warrior Panman, cunning and wise Athiest mage, with the hammer blow being delivered by the awesome armies of Kosma (no further food required). KoK would also be supported by a force lead by General Bacon from KoKIII and 2 waves from KoC.

Orders to march were given, the point of no return reached, armies committed to the full on assault of beacon 65, Chaos's level 5.

One by one the brave and heroic armies of the softening blows landed their hits on the beacons, in the knowledge that few of their number would survive but that their sacrifice would bring victory. Troops intelligence was pass back to sage Bio who confirmed the enemies defences stood at the 18m level. Stronger than expected but still no match for the combined KoK and allies attacks.

And finally the beacons defenders at 65 could see the massed armies of the Kosma's hammer blow approaching over the horizon, the final massive army which would ensure their doom. From this point on their fate was sealed. At the head of the mighty army Lord Kosma barked out final orders.

Court mages have recorded that epic final battle which have been immortalised in the record below:

For a moment there was peace and a stillness fell over the battleground of beacon 65. The flag of KoK was raised over the mighty beacon.

This moment of respite was short lived as the leaders of the KoK armies pulled their troops together and begun the march for beacon 45. The battle was over but the war was not yet won. As our troops assembled, remnants of the Eternal chaos armies fled the battlefield. Time was of the essence as they could be used to reinforce beacon 45.

And so it came to pass, some 30 minutes later, that Lord Kosma stood at the foot of beacon 45, ready for the second battle of the day. Kosma's haste had paid off, the beacon did not look well defended and had not been reinforce.

The battle for beacon 45 was short and bloody. No mercy was shown and virtually every enemy troop as killed. Records of the battle have been recorded in the following tapestry:

At last the offensive troops could rest, as supporting defensive troops from all over the league, flooded around them on their way to defend beacon 65. The enemy would muster no response, crushed, at least for today, by their defeat.

As camp fires were lit and day turned to night the Lords of KoK gathered to reflect on their day. It had been a mighty victory for KoK.

- A new lvl 5 beacon stood in our possession
- our enemy was crushed having lost 70% of their troops from the first battle, approx 13m power and nearly 100% in their doomed defence of beacon 45
- our own armies were manly intact and the mighty hammer commanded by Lord Kosma still in play
- Oberon had recognised our feats with 3 news achievements
- Total land under KoK control had increased to over 5km squared

Even as the mead flowed, news of treachery at beacon 28 began to filter to the celebrating army. Before the night was out the hammer would have to come to DAM nation's door but the bards will tell of that story in different songs.

Great warriors of King of Kings, we should pay heed to the sacrifice of our armies and pay respects to the dead but above all else rejoice in our glorious victory.

WAR WITH CHAOS OF DESTINY - DAY 1

Mighty warriors of King of Kings. As the day grows dark and we clean the blood from our swords it is time to crack open the mead and celebrate the first day of this mighty combat.

For the gods have smiled on us today. Our troops have fought with bravery and valour and while the battlefields are strewn with the dead, very few of them are ours.

The day began with attacks on Chaos beacon 43, led by the forces of the mighty Lords Panman and AthiestMage. Panmage and Mage were supported by 4 other lords in two combined league attacks.

The defending Chaos forces, some 400k of defence were routed by the very first attack, the beacon taken, first blood to KOK. But even as the news of victory made its way back to our great lords and the mists of battle cleared from the field, it became clear that in the confusion of battle the attacking forces of Lord Justine had failed to hear the horns of retreat and depart the beacon. Many brave warriors from Justine's army were to die as Chaos reinforcements made haste to the beacon. Raise a glass and spare a thought for our brave departed. These were though to be the only sizeable losses of the day.

What followed this initial attacks was a series of back and forth battles, with neither side ready to commit sizeable defences to the beacons. With minimal defences the level 1 beacons fell to the initial attacks and the back and forth battle began in earnest for these KoK beacons as well as the original Choas beacons. War was well and truly afoot.

After a number of hours of attack and counter attack the great Lords Panman and Mage retired to their chambers (they must be vampires as they seemingly rise at night and sleep during the day).

At this point honored captain Sky took over control of our mighty armies. Lord Sky called for a change in strategy. We would let the enemy take our low level beacons and funnel their unsuspecting attackers towards a beacon where we would make the first great defensive stand of the war.

As it happened it was not necessary to construct a great wall of defence as the enemies commanders fatefully sent their attacks to the already massively defended beacon 91, The results were catastrophic for the Chaos army with Marhsall Titio's entire offence wiped out at the foot of beacons 91 walls. The death and destruction readily can be seen in the following picture of the battlefield, KoK losses were minimal.

With their Marshall routed the Chaos armies fell back. KoK beacons were retaken. Small scale attacks and counter attacks continued but it was clear for now the enemies attacking forces had been severely blunted.

Then came Chaos Lord Scott to the field. With a seizable army of dragons at his disposal Chaos re-took several KoK beacons. But communication and co-ordination is weak amongst our enemies. Again they over-stretched and become over-confident seeing the prize of the level 2 beacon 91. And so it was that Chaos Lord's Scotts armies would also be slaughtered also at the foot of beacon 91.

As our troops celebrated their victory they made their way amongst the fallen Chaos soldiers and were able to count at least 1,500 wyverns and 600 dragons - attacking forces of over 4 millions had died in vein, having hardly dented the defending KoK troops. The mighty armies of Lords Titio and Scott were dead, the enemy was in total disarray.

While the battles for beacon 91 had raged in the East of KoK territory Chaos had called in allies True Harem and Italian Warriors to attack the northern most beacon, beacon 29. These forces showed little more spirit than to hit and run. No defensive forces were fielded by these enemies, no attempt made to hold the beacon. Several times during the day the beacon lay undefended and was over-run by baldur's hordes.

The leaders of these armies were not skilful. In time they made too many mistakes, leaves attacking troops to be slaughtered. There armies were worn down and they removed themselves from the battle.

Things were quite for several hours, our enemies licking their wounds and counting their losses.

The eerie quiet was finally broken by the advancing horns sounding reinforcements. But the reinforcements were not for KoK, the horns were the sounds of the advancing Horseman of Apocalypse army entering the fray and their target was beacon 28. KoK was fighting it's fourth league of the day!!

After several small skirmishes the bold Apocalypse army signalled their intent by stationing a seizable defence force at the beacon. This army meant business and wished to take and hold the beacon unlike their fellow alliance members, who had followed guerilla tactics.

Our illustrious leader Big Hurt had by now reached the battle field. Difficult decision has to be made in the face of this additional fourth enemy, the next steps were not clear for KoK.

These tense moments were broken once again by the sounds of an approaching army. Before this army could be seen the ground began to tremble from its footfalls. As it rounded the foothills of beacon 28 cheers began to raise from the remaining KoK troops. For as far as the eye could see from the West to the East the vast army of fabledl Lord Alan could be seen.

The enemy trembled behind the walls of beacon 28 as the vast army marched forward. Hemmed into the beacon with no means of escape cries of alarm turned to cries of death. Chaos forces were slaughtered mercilessly. It was one sided and bloody. The body count can be seen here:

The battle is not yet won. Even now there are reports of Chaos forces moving in the night and stories of Lord Scott using magical sapphires to raise his troops from the dead. Chaos will no doubt continue their guerilla tactics and more beacons will be won and lost. But those will be the stories of day 2 of this war.

For now mighty warriors of KoK - rejoice in the victories of day 1 and gird yourself for the battles to come, for each of us must play our part.

Let's set something straight, you guys  needed KOC help to do that.  You did not do it all on your own :)

Otherwise great presentation, just need to make sure your facts are straight!!

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

Also:

In the short time I have played the game, I even know if you fight KOK you fight KOC (and others). It is just to be expected, there is strong communication between the alliance that one League I was in called the "K Leagues". You have to have respect for these Leagues, for though some Leagues have tried to duplicate the Alliance to stand against them, all have failed.

Maybe someday another alliance will emerge to challenge them. I doubt it, for most players do not have the commitment it would take.

@djmoody excellent post, the presentation was fun.

Nice to see things you have done to plenty of SMALLER leagues. I thought KT were the bullies?? These two "victories" of yours were against smaller leagues. You beat your "massive" "wardrums".

On a lighter side. got any room left? just was kicked from KT. For standing up to their DIShonourable tactics.. I had had enough. And seems they dont like people who disagree with how they play their game.

I didn't see any mention of you guys playing Farmville these days. With all the beacon naps you do with the tops leagues no wonder you bully the lower leagues lol.

Just curious how many meeting and discussions it took before you did those hits?. They must have been planned 6 months in advance lol.

No need to act like a child just because you were kicked out of the teamspeak chat for being disruptive and disrespectful to everyone in the room.
