Bio they were unwritten rules that without even being said were more often times than few observed by the most of us.  Many 2 yr or more vets in this game like yourself tried to treat people with respect, and weren't constantly harassing small leagues or players to show how big or bad you were.  In the most cases ya'll were even too busy bucking for the top spot to even worry about a growing small league.  And as the game progressed the small leagues were able to learn and grow.

But you're going to say that you as no doubt probably a 100 plus or so player in the game are gonna go tap on a little flagged neophyte just for S&G's right?  I don't think you would because why would it be A worth your time, or B that player even be a threat to begin with.

The point I'm making here is that bigger leagues and bigger players whom enjoy the strategy and tactical side of this game, also cannot see wasting time or effort taking out a beginning player.  Instead they'd rather let that beginner grow up some so they can give you a decent battle.

But then again who am I to say that you personally wouldn't I was generalizing based on experience both past and present and communications as well with others whom share the common perception that I have in not one but many big leagues.  Each differing but each maintaining a standard very similar to that which I stated.

If one person says something it could be a lie or truth. If two people say the same thing well they could have been collaborating on an idea or trying to get their story straight.

But if at least 23 to 30 random people express the exact same Idea, well then obviously the elephant is being viewed as an elephant.

My Lords,

each league and each player have its own rules. Its a game remember not a real life.

There are many factors included you haven't mention before like dealing with potential threat, in game tasks etc.

Bullying is a strong word, don't you think?

Considering the actual definition of the word.. My scenarios and commonality assessment fit my assertion.

1.

a blustering, quarrelsome, overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people.

That is verbatim the Dictionary Definition of a bully.

So those three things I mentioned particularly more than one player vs a smaller (weaker player) or Very large say level 100 harassing a little level 30 with three to four attacks a day though only being able to raid for resources once a week to begin with, Just to show they are bigger than the little beginner is . Or let me take all the fiefs in your area and not let you have the opportunity to siege one because they all belong to me though I can only pull resources off of three of them. and should you hit one, well then I'm gonna attack your entire league, and wipe you off the map because I'm in charge and your a pissant compared to me.

All this type of thing or here's 20 fireballs because you killed a wraith on my little level 2 fief I was holding because you were trying to complete your liberate quest..

Let's get real here folks if those examples ain't bullying then nothing is.

So an unwritten standard was set by ALL the leagues? That must have been a big meeting that didn't allow notes, bummer I missed it and I have been here over 2 yrs.

Was it unwritten in invisible ink and then not shared with all the leagues,it seems a few of us hadn't heard, must be a pretty big secret.

Guess this means Frenzie can't hit me lol, she is 28 levels higher, do you think she knows ;))

Lord None,

if I remember correctly such rules were initiated by UN league some 5 or 6 years ago on S1. Afterward, few alliances accepted them.

Since this is war game problem was when some league didn't  obeyed them and it those cases diplomacy was in place, retaliation, deff traps etc.

Who set these standards? Who agreed?

I would also like to know who decided fiefs are fair game? If the person besieging it wants to hit your castle for hitting his siege so be it, it is a war game and by all rights your castle is just as much fair game as his fief.

Is there a sub law that states a level 50 can't take a level 80's settlement and claim you can't do anything because I am a low level?
There is bullying and there is retaliation. Many leagues do not condone players being bullies. If your league is not an Ally or At Peace with a league or in a War there are different rules. Most leagues post their rules only to their own players or At Peace and Ally leagues as Diplomacy is negotiated. Many leagues use the 10 or 20 level rule to allow newer players to grow.

No disrespect but I can name a 100 words much strong that Bullying in less than a minute without thinking. Lets not be so serious about the matter. It is a game, for fun, a hobby to kill time, nothing more nothing less. People are taking this game way to seriously as recent developments have shown in other arenas.

So deep breathes folks. Sometimes you have people who prey on people 20 levels+ lower. Or send out little torpedoes to raid random people and then rat pack them if they retaliate, better yet, they go after people associated with you to send a message. At the end of the day its all shift and giggles. All things come full circle, they always do.

I don't think many out there can say they have clean hands, period, not many.

And for the record.. I miss the days when I would get nuked to no end for hitting a hamlet or fief. It was like drinking free tears at 500saphs a sip.

Lord Gogo Knightmare,

Well, to be fair. it is smart playing. given the game mechanics for battles etc. its the safest and smartest way for those that invest a ton of money into it. doesnt want to make me want to talk any less trash, lol, but I will give credit when due.

they can do tons of other things, not one beneficial to them. but a kid can dream ;)

hell yeah fiefs are fair game... they are BOT CASTLES/Inactive for the sole purpose of being farmed, they do not belong to anyone, im really tired of higher level coiners and players geting upset because I attacked one of their precious fiefs...

if your a level 80 attacking a level 50 because he/she attacked your fief/siege your a scum bag in my opinion, you could at least give them a warning via letter first and see the response... even then if I was the level 50, id respond with "COME AT ME BRO"

If you play the game smart there is nothing you can lose, most people lose their armies on mistake raids or simply forgeting to cata...

I wish fireballs were cheaper or possibly earned via tournys or something, how else is a lower level player suppose to compete with someone who has lets say 20million defense just sitting at his castle.............

Well, some Lords and Ladies prefer to choose aggressive offense instead of diplomatic resolution :)

Fireballs are something that should have never been allowed in the game in the first place, if you are to cowards to send your troops then just sit at home don't be throwing FB if I raid someone, it is as much to get resources s to kill troops I am sure a fireball never brings any resources back

Fireballs do not bring resources back with them but sometimes they bring a grin if the timing is correct and the results are better than just the castle guard.

They can also get you some pvp points, which can win you extra troops and prizes if there's a tournament on :)

I used to take things too personal, or too serious, or as said here, too offensive.

It was common thing for me to FB a siege, just because I can( I wonder why I din't build walls then). It is common for players to feel a little greedy, and want to control sieges.

Bullying is also a relative term, and if we are to constrict it to levels then things will get murkey. Not all of us think PvP, and BG are what makes the game fun, so a level 80 player can just be as weak as a level 50.

With regards to leagues, well I don't really know, But it depend.

For example the is a league that has been reduced to nothings, they are always raided, Everybody hates them. They are abused, but not bullied per say.

With 1 player Vs many, I don't really know there, but I don't consider KT hitting my cattle on server 1 and 2 as Bullying, just points raids, and sieges. Just a couple of players having fun the best they can.

It also depend on the player. A socialist player can be very sensetive to offensive action ,and might not understand at all why He can just get FB at random. He is here for the communication part of the game, and that whats pull him in. They are also very desolate, and prefer to deal with the same situation again and again,, he chats at the same time like he did last time, and to the same person, about the weather,.

But BG player might not tolerate such actions. they get more fun by becoming bigger than anyone else, they are also more likely to spend. they rarely cause trouble. They are also more likely to categorize things, and players, or leagues. So bullying to then might be when they are attacked by someone/ a league not in ''their own standards''

PvP player don't pretty much care, they see it, they hit it, they care less about rank and more about domination. Deplomacy hinders them, they hate  chatting, and absolutely like talking about how cool their  pathfinder looks, and how much they lost last time they got hit by a FB. They can spend or could not, also dividing them into categories.

The Loner, well they hate everything, are ***holes and f**kers that will make your life miserable. they can be a/in league, but never see themselves as part of it. they are never part of anythings, they will downgrade a fort just because its donwngradeable, they will siege you, and leave 20 Mil armies they love FB, and get t buy as many as possible. They love to teleport to location and dominate evrything. you can't touch their seige. bullying to them might be somethings else. They are the kind of players that will tell you its a war game, Happy hunting and right back at you when you try to seek deplomatic resolution with. these I believe are the bullies

technically....someone does own the bot castles. the person who bought the program that created them.

im sure these are upper level players and they probably get really ticked off when you steal a bot castle they paid money to create.
