Yesterday our mighty overlord Balur requested our assistance in defending one of his settlements from the forces of Oberon, and of course we agreed.  Here are some screenshots of the attacks by some foolish players that have yet to recognize the true greatness of Balur.

Oh golly!

I have not read in depth about the roleplaying thingie (another thread).

So you reinforce Balur settlements and Beacons and this is the incoming attacks you get?

Did any of the above spy first and then still attacked with such force?

'Free' Crematorium is for sure a juicy lure...

All of the ones posted sent smaller hits before sending the big hits, and some tried to spy (all failed of course).  The last 2 were by the same guy, you'd think after losing 947/949 wyverns he'd realize there was a lot of def on it.

It's the dumb newbie coiners.

Played hamlets with big defensive quite a bit about 6/9 months ago. The amount of people who are willing to "send all" on offence without knowing what is inside something is truly amazing.

I always liken it to going "all in" at a hold em poker tournament. You might win a lot of hands but you are going to get called sometimes and every time you do, you have a chance of being knocked out of the tournament.

Newbie coiners get used to over powering other noobs with their 15-20m coined offence. It works the first 50/100 times and they never work out that it's a bad strategy until the day they have no offence......

I have NEVER risked my offence without knowing in advance it was going to win and what losses I was likely to take.
Everyone has a right to an opinion. No one has a right to their opinion being respected by other if it can't be backed up with rational and logic explanation

That was sneaky and danger. You could killed units of your friend, too. But that is your way and you have right to do whatever with troops.

What you haven't right or I missed something

is

to public blame any player announcing its name in reports

Over all, you and Warrior AS MODs, Eugenia AS CM, should to prevent posts like this!!!

IMO.. if a friend loses a bunch of O hitting a settlement like those people in the screenshots.. then I failed them as a friend because I let them be an idiot in the game.

If I didn't teach my friend how to not lose all his troops being stupid.. what kind of friend would I be.... also.. nothing wrong with having IQ as a measure for friends.. doing so usually makes the friendships last longer because you both can go equally deep into a subject of conversation.

That's could be problem for very smart people.

I am happy with my dumber and smarter friends.

But, my post has a much clearer message(s) than it is a story about friendship. And still there is no reaction on that.

My friends know how to do basic test hits and tell the difference between 1-2 mil def and 200 mil def, so they wouldn't fall for something like this.

If any of the players involved contact me asking to remove their name I will do so.  But there is nothing in the forum rules saying we're not allowed to include player names in screenshots, so unless it bothers them I see no reason to change my post.
