The simple reason that the issue takes time to fix are simply because it needs to be recreated and then fix and tested again to make sure the issue is fix and it should not affect another functionality.

The daily reward clock is on a specific timer. So say you bought the 14 Days of Rewards package at 15:47 (3:47pm), you will then receive your next days reward, at approximately the same time, 24 hours later. Even though you are seeing a pop-up every time you login, or come back to the page, where you can click to claim your reward, you technically cannot claim that days reward, until the specified time. If you click on the claim reward button, & get the error message, you will see a date, & time at the bottom of the error message, i.e. "Segment:0, Time:Thu Jan 6 15:47:23 2017 (UTC)", THAT is the exact date, & time, when you will be rewarded that days items. So just be patient. Unfortunately, none of us knew it was on such a specific 24 hour reward clock. So save yourself the time of submitting a ticket.
