You wont.

Anyone with experience wont try to hold a hamlet for that amount of time, As a hamlet can only be defended by 1 person and unless you defend with at least 200 mil def you are going to get splattered.

The people who actually get res/saph/amulets from them use the fastest to complete amount of def to complete so they can sneak a little at a time before the hitters arive.

Hamlets are utterly pointless.

As Stewart pointed out the uber coining in the game means on my server you could get hit by 750m player. So you can't put serious defence on a hamlet and keep it for long.

So all that hamlets are is a way for OCD ppl to gain a little reward for continually spamming a few minute occupations and repeating. I guess more than 1 person has botted this given really needs no human attention.

Due to travel times if you do that you no one will get to you before you leave with the resources.

No pretty much no one but cheats or OCD ppl get a benefit from them and there is no PvP to be found on them. Genius update Failarium.

Hi! Have you tried holding a Hamlet in less popular hours? It could be easier to hold it when there are fewer competitors online.

Yeah - definitely worth risking your entire defence for a reward which is tiny in comparison to what you risk.

Remember new player, Plarium's entire objective is to get your troops killed in the hope that you spend money to revive them. That is why they champion horrendously badly designed Flag and Massacre events and pretend that BG's don't steal your troops.

i could set my alarm for 3 AM, but then it would be 7 PM somewhere.  and yes you still get splattered during non tournament times.  there is always someone who wants 2 dragons for a 5 minute raid.  of course holding a hamlet takes 90 minutes to gain 2 dragons.

is there a counter showing current players online?  maybe then i could see when the less popular hrs actually are.  it still doesn't change the truth that djmoody stated.

Don't worry about it lahbrian.36, it is a stupid quest and I would be very surprised if anyone other than uber-coiners has ever been able to complete it.

Someone will be online anyway, but some ours can give them better chances to hold Hamlets for a while :)
