Ethical behavour

To all for discussion

I'd like to pose a ethical question for discussion

I have a castle in my area that is sieging 20+ high level BOT castles. Getting upset that I am raiding a lot of them

I explained that I think it is rude and unsportsmanlike to siege more than you can draw from (fiefs)

he says it is unethical to raid someones fiefs more that once or twice a week.

He claims that I am being lazy and unethical in that behavour, whereas I pose that it is unethical to siege more castles than you can have any use for in an effort to deny them to others just because it is unethical to raid.  I believe he is using that unwritten rule as a crutch to avoid having to actually work for raids.

Opinions?

Raid all his sieges, every day, even when you run out of raid for resources. Jelly tears man, JELLY!

I told my members 1-2 of 1 player per day and that even my allies have to accept, we all need reses and i dont restrict my members to get them. 1-2 a week is not possible if you see who dominate the sieges in different areas. Few take only 3, few take the half map.Fiefs are fair gaming.

OM NOM NOM delicious tears.  Get your friends to raid his sieges too, and prepare the tear collection jars.

I agree with the others, But on top of that if its the line of bots that are mostly food then you will overflow food quickly, SO what i do is send food back to the bots to give back some res.

That way i can get res from them daily at the same time as making the player cry like a baby, And when they complain again send them a random message that you have translated through google from 1 language to the next to the next until it makes no sence.

DARN!! You figured out my evil plot to confuse the world!!

Seriously though, some people get over grabby with the bots - just spy every single one of them a couple times and pick the best to raid. Let the guy wade through all the reports a few times and he may decide he can lose a few.

I've decided that bot sieges aren't worth the effort of keeping them. Find a couple nice inactives instead, not like there aren't enough of those to go around.

I think, therefore I game.

Raid away, feifs (bots or otherwise) are fair game, If your league is allied to his and has a no fief policy, you would have heard from them already.

If the whining continues, drop him on your blacklist, problem solved.

to raid an active player for fiefs is bullying is the same if you would take hams, loose them and start to siege the half members list of the league. If you take them you must be ready to loose them again that are the rules for things are not constantly your own ;)

We asked a long time ago that sieges and tribute be removed from the game. Plarium hand out thousands of sapphires every week to players who are holding thousands of low level castle, and claiming tribute from their own active alt accounts. This requires no skill and should not be rewarded.

Plarium refused this request and even closed down the Suggestion threads on other forums. The beginning of the end?

Interesting that they have stolen this idea (and many others) for use on their new games like Vikings (which has opened on facebook but not here yet)

To siege an active castle for 1 week is not possible, then better any low lv inactives.

What is with raids ? I know you are not a fan of bots, but even to raid bots for rankings you need more than only sending raids (with or without preloading) i didnt raid alts for it (esp i dont know which castles are alts), but this i cant make anymore inactives i have not enough to raid for rankings, actives to much risks for a non coining player (even with spying before and before the raid hits, boosts and recaller are not unlimited available). And im missing to raid for rankings, i liked to do this :(

It was my chocolate, my way to relax from being marshall...

Maybe its the end of the games no clue but what we have still over we could lose ? BGs broken, raids broken only leagues which put a lot of money in the game can be annoyed about it, after they spent their eras here are ending and the money they used was for nothing.

Bots, fiefs, random siege. All fair game. You own it if you can keep it. Some will spend more time and ressources (lost troops, boosters for trapping) for the vanity of "having respect for their siege", while just going to raid all that is available is way quicker and gives more ress.

Even granting each neighbor just three sieges will cut down on available raids so quick nobody is gaining anything. And letting allies have their sieges, well, your enemies now got more opportunity than your friends. Way to go.

Its stupid to siege bots they get raided daily the one complaining is lazy and doesn't make an effort to look for inactive castles in his area to siege

bots and inactive castles are not owned by anyone they are free for everyone to raid

If you are making the most of your raids you can only raid a castle once per week

he does not have many bots under siege so he can fief them he is just trying to control the line

bots are not worth fighting over, some feel differently so if the fight is not worth it to you simply spend a couple k saphs and relocate

HAAAA!!! Let me fill u all in on the details. Some of which Romkeys purposefully left out, and some in his statement which are LIES.. LOL. First of all the bot line he's referring to has 2 rows, and upper and a lower, directly above and beneath eachother. Second, BOTH of these bot fields stretch for over 150 miles. So being that there are 2 rows of bots, one right above the other, and they both stretch for over 150 miles, maybe even 200  miles or more, by that logic there are THOUSANDS of bots. Maybe 5,000, maybe 10,000? I am the player he's crying about. I have appx 15 fiefs all about in the same area, but not all directly next to one another, but most in the same general area. The purpose as all of you know is that sending an archer back to every one of them all the time every single day is a pain. I am NOT the only one in this area who does this, there are plenty of people who have a lot more fiefs in that area than i do, i see them myself all the time. But do i whine and cry? No.. I raid one of theirs per day, and not always every day, as i try to be respectful and not get anyone upset. And i move on to find my other raids. Basically its called keeping peace in the neighborhood u live in, and not being lazy and not bothering people. Everyone in this area abides by this rule. EVERYONE. I have literally never had a problem with anyone in the neighborhood before in regards to fiefs. Everyone abides by the same common practice except for him.

Now on to his lie.. I never said or inferred to only raid 1 per week. That of course would be utterly ridiculous! I said 1 or 2 a day is an acceptable practice which is regarded by all who live near there. There are literally hundreds of empty bots or bots sieged by other players in that general area, not to mention if u go 3 miles down the road or more.. If youre not being lazy. The fact of the matter is everyone who lives in that area ALL abide by the same guidelines and basic ethics. 1 or 2 a day is acceptable. This Romkeys person was raiding EIGHT (8) or more of mine literally every single day for weeks before i even said anything to him about it. And he in fact admitted he did it purposefully to be a pest and to annoy me. So tell me who is in the wrong? When everyone in a neighborhood respects eachother EXCEPT for one person, i think its obvious he sticks out like a sore thumb. At the end of the day i didnt come here to ask anyone's opinions, i came to clarify the lies i saw written about the situation, and to fully explain the bot fields in which there are thousands all around him, but he chose to raid 8 or more of mine per day for weeks at a time as he said to purposefully be an annoyance because he disagreed with the common practice and rule which ALL others abide by except him.

Good Day all, and Romkeys its up to u, do u want to adhere to the common rules of the neighborhood or not? Its your choice, but if u dont there will be consequences if u are admitting you're purposefully trying to be an annoyance to someone. Which is what he wrote to my marshal which she then forwarded to me and we laughed about it. Bottom line, i dont care about fiefs, the point is dont purposefully try to tick someone off because u disagree with a practice that is followed by ALL in the neighborhood except u. Go ahead, raid 8 or more fiefs of a player per day as u admitted u wanted to be an annoyance, and see what happens. I am not the only one who would be annoyed by that. Go ahead and test it out on some other players. I think i was pretty fair by not saying a word to him for weeks about it.  Or be respectful and go raid 1 of the 10,000 other bots instead of trying to purposefully pester someone, as u admitted u were trying to do..

Oh and by the way his marshal apparently agreed with me, or at least agreed it would be a bad idea to raid that many fiefs of a player every single day, especially if you're doing it solely for the purpose of trying to bother someone.

Romkey.

First max your raids out per castle with working towards themax road allowance. That way you get a full 50k or more with caravan push. That way you a at a pint you only have to hit each one o e a week 9r double/triple tap because you are feeling lazy that day.

2nd. Not everyone has that many foe's hut some do. Try o talk and come up with agreements with your neighbors. In my area all fief ate fairgame. To raid. Reseige.  Just break for personal quest andnot just among people outside the league. League mars will also break each other series for those reasons. Etc. But we get along well enough that all are pretty relaxed and don't care about them at all anyways. Archers are cheap. Cheaper than dirt.

Its a game, not saving the world. :)
