Just a quick question to clear something up.

The infirmary says that it can max a persons out to revive 50% of their troops in the information box.

But the icons of the sword% and shield% seem to indicate that they will be able to heal 50% of offense, but the defense revival rate is maxed at 30%. I suspect this is the case. so....why the imbalance? Def is imbalanced as it is all over and if so why is that not better indicated int he description of what the infirmary does?

Or am I just mistaken here ?

You are correct 50% offence and 30% def revival at max it is like this becuase you should not have off out so this helps players who get their offence caught

Thanks Failo, I appreciate it.

So in your honest opinion, do you think it is worth it to use sketches on?

Doesnt seem like it to me if a person is on thier game...then again have had my offense come in at a perfectly timed raid and lost it all, so sort of a coin toss. lol never again !

I dont think it is worth it unless you have extra sketches to use. i only got my offence caught once and it was only 100 dragons (you still get 30% revive)

lord Failo is correct

the max revival is 50% off 30% deff (it is up to you whether its worth it or not)

Infirmary at 50% for offense is funny. I do know someone who had left there offense out and came back to game to have 2 players offense almost wiped hahaha.

It's all part of the coiner protection - same as lost arts lvl 31 & 32 giving a ridiculous defence bonus.

Now the uber coiners (typcially very bad at the game) can forget to pull from beacons, leave their offence out at castles and generally move through the game without a care in the world, with all their mistakes forgiven.

Game used to be a Real Time Strategy game but Plarium simply remove the strategy further with each update, the final goal I am sure is simply a screen with a "Pay to Win" Button.
Everyone has a right to an opinion. No one has a right to their opinion being respected by other if it can't be backed up with rational and logic explanation

Even with such a significant boost, Offensive Units will not be as effective at defense as Defensive Units, and vice versa. When our developers design a new game feature, they make sure it does not change the core of the game while enhancing your gaming experience. New Lost Arts levels provide equal opportunities to both offensive and defensive players to have better chances against their enemies. As in real life, you will need both Offensive and Defensive Units to wage war effectively.

I have also seen some other comments stating that it will no longer be possible to ambush Offensive Units, and one will need more offense to be able to perform that “trick”. You are right. This trick is a nice strategic move, but let us look at it from a different standpoint: multiple players brought it to our attention that their armies were destroyed in unfair battles like that. So it is only fair that players have some security against such “tricks”. We do not grant absolute protection from this, so the strategy in question can still be used. What we did is reduce its damaging effect. Such battles will still be unfair, but you are free to employ this strategy if you wish. We do, however, want all of our players to have more real and epic battles, where both sides gain Experience and agree that fights are fair.

For a while I couldn't get what you, mean. I have so far seen 2 complaints and all of them were from coiners. Ingame I have never seen such a complain, only disappointments from players who were caught with offense out.

But if I replace the word Player with the word coiner.

Do not misinterpret my words, Oracle.

And here I thought I'm still playing a strategy game. >_>

I still remember a questionnaire by oberon a long time ago about what to do on def stats on ofen units and vice versa. IIRC everyone on that thread agrees that nothing should changes and it's part of the risk and it requires some thinking and strategy/tactic. So I'm very curious, what kind of player request this? prolly some noob who got his ofens caught-off guard and whine.

We had the same update on other games too, and there were players on different forums, who were against the new levels of Lost Arts, because they could lose the opportunity to catch someone's Offense, because the Offensive Units could defend themselves now.

Not all updates are implemented by player requests. This one was designed by our game developers.
