You had a very good payout. I did not do the calculations but I think they are comp[arable to the estimated max payout.

Brunson, that was a presidio

This is the 'average' payout from level 90 red+green ballegrounds

7125 griffins but 1725 wyverns, so I will leave others to calculate total res values :)

Developer tips: Battlegrounds

The system of Battlegrounds is a tough nut to crack, but our developers are ready to shed some light on how they work!

Here you go, my Lords and Ladies!

1. All the Units you send to Battlegrounds count toward your future reward.

2. It is important that you engage new Battlegrounds only after you have defeated the previous ones.

Activating bonuses from Paragon, Dragon Stone etc might allow you to defeat battlegrounds with fewer losses, but this will reduce the total resource value of units sacrificed.

Many would claim it is better to remove all boosts, including those from Hero Avatar etc, which would fill our resource bank more quickly.
This also implies that level 32 units are much too powerful for battlegrounds

It's not better to remove boosts.  Using units with more boosts just means you'll have to kill more bgs before you get a payout, but killing each one will cost fewer troops.  So in the end you load the same amount of units in and get the same size payout, you just get more xp and tournament points along the way if you have more boosts active.  However, it's usually not worth wasting sapphire boosts or dragon stone boosts just to get a few % more points.

Just confirming it is L81 when you get that image. I got it just the other day.

I see i get bigger ones on green ...but i am strugiling to get the bigger one on red BG.

- this means to defeat all that I had and dont kill the ones I didnt ventured yet ?

I'm pretty sure he is saying don't clear the rune battleground until you've gotten a payout on one below it.  The rune reduces payout.  This is old information, he's just stating it in an obfuscating manner because Plarium does not give tips that will benefit players.

All levels have a small payout and a full payout, depending on whether your 'resource bank' is full or not

Use the Playtamin website to examine the full payouts

For example, 

level 40 red bg will give 298 wyverns + 60 griffins when the bank is full
and level 40 green bg will give 543 griffins + 109 wyverns

( these figures use the 'average' payouts based on the total cumulated value of resources sacrificed )

That is the correct payout for that level. Around 120 it gives 25K+ graffin. 

I thought you are doing level 160 + BG. So how can that be a Rune BG. 😀😁

 But if it's really is a Rune my experience is that it gives split reward in offense and defense.
