The Weorian Recruitment Race
Lords and Ladies, a brand new Tournament is upon us: the Weorian Recruitment Race!
This guide will help you understand the Tournament's mechanics, so you can maximize your Rewards. Don't forget to share this information with all your League Members!
The Weorian Recruitment Race is a time-limited Tournament where your League must advance through 10 Tournament Stages by conquering Weorian Battlegrounds and earning Idols.
Idols are needed to train Weorian Units in the Weorian Stronghold located in your Stoneheart Castle. By training Weorian Units, your League can earn Tournament Points and climb up the Rankings!
To participate in this Tournament, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- You must be a fully-fledged League Member
- Your League must not be in the process of being dismissed
- You must have unlocked your Stoneheart Castle
- Your League must have 10 or more fully-fledged Members who have unlocked their Stoneheart Castles
There are two major components of the Weorian Recruitment Race:
1. Conquering Weorian Battlegrounds and Earning Idols
You can send Units to conquer Weorian Battlegrounds for only TWO DAYS during the Tournament. You cannot send Champions to Weorian Battlegrounds.
When the Tournament begins, all League Members can find two of these Battlegrounds in the Weorian Battlegrounds tab of the Weorian Stronghold. By conquering them, you can acquire Idols, which are needed to train Weorian Units and advance through Tournament Stages.
You and your League must acquire enough Idols together to complete each Stage. Every new Stage you reach, except the last one, reveals two Weorian Battlegrounds. If your League completes the final Stage and you have conquered at least one Weorian Battleground during the Tournament, you can claim the final Stage Reward.
After conquering each Weorian Battleground, you can also select a Bonus out of three options. You can choose to get the same Bonus multiple times. The effects stack. These Bonuses will be active while the Weorian Battlegrounds are available during the Tournament.
The Bonus can be to any of these statistics:
- Unit Offense
- Unit Defense
- Unit Movement Speed
- Unit Carrying Capacity
- Gold Production
- Iron Production
- Food Production
- Unit Training Speed
- Infantry Unit XP
- Cavalry Unit XP
- Occult Unit XP
- Bestiary Unit XP
- Stoneheart Unit XP
- Castle Defense
- Hamlet Gathering Speed
- Lost Art Discovery And Upgrade Speed
- Champion XP Bonus
- Building Construction And Upgrade Speed
- Hero Equipment Selling Speed
- Battle Experience
2. Training Weorian Units
You can train Weorian Units for all seven days of the Tournament in the Weorian Unit Training tab of your Weorian Stronghold.
Each Tournament makes two Weorian Units available for training: one Offensive Unit and one Defensive Unit. The Units you can train can change after every Tournament, so their availability is limited. Collect Idols from Weorian Battlegrounds to train as many as you can!
You can speed up Weorian Unit training with Stoneheart Boosts. You can also increase the speed of Weorian Unit training by upgrading each Unit's Weorian Lost Art.
Training Weorian Units earns Tournament Points for you and your League. The more Points you earn, the higher your chances of getting a Ranking Reward. The Top 100 Leagues will receive amazing Rewards!
IMPORTANT: Your unused Idols will disappear once the Tournament ends (or if you leave your League). Make sure to train as many Weorian Units as possible and get as many Points as you can before you lose your Idols!
We hope that you and your League find this guide useful!
