The Nerf to the champions duel event is horrible.

Now there are hardly any orbs or emeralds as rewards - you have to pretty much self fund the entire event - its WAY too expensive for very little rewards.

It's not like people really need a lot of Holy bonds anymore as they are awash with them from other sources. So this event was beginning to be completely ignore anyway.

Successive Nerfs which have destroyed the event:

- Increased the number of sends required to complete the event

- Removed the Holy bond reward for winning your Tier

- Now nerfed the rewards and made the event significantly more expensive

I am not stupid - I get the event is an emerald sink and so the whole thing is business model/money related thing.

But still, the event was flagging and being ignored by more and more people. How does nerfing it so hard you will kill it off completely make any sense. Might as well just remove it, if you don't want it in the game anymore.

Destroying your own content seems nuts to me. Supposed to give people more reasons to play not less.
