if you want to quit and you like your league why not just leave defense for league in a beacon or hand controls over to someone you trust, it seems hackish to me

Doesn't look like I quit way. He must have run out of boosts and recalls. the defense must have been sent firs, then he run out of recalls

Realizing the mistake he sent some O, then he tries to boost, and boosts are finished. 

The account looks fishy, A real big army with such small darkening. It must have been bought, at least 10 330$ purchases.

I am going to rule out hacking, probably  cracking

With the amount of money spent I highly doubt he couldn't afford a $5 package to buy an instant recall but lets set that aside for just a sec and address the defense first part of the scenario. That seems like either a hack or a quit, we all know Bob the dog is a bit crazy but I don't see him (actually her from what I hear) sending D first unless suicide was the plan.
