Agreed totally.
Flag tourney can be won or lost either right at start or just before the end. This is one tournament where timing is everything. For me personally it would be in the last two hours when I am usually in class. Although it has been a while since I participated. Probably because I can never be in game at that critical time. lol
Alternating starting times of this and other events between reset and 12 hours between and on different days of week would bring more balance across time zones.
I would add one more suggestion here.
If your fort is in an undefended lvl 5 or 8 safe zone, that puts you in a separate tier. Right now as it is, you have a bunch of much stronger leagues fighting over who can get to our fort the fastest at the beginning of the tourney and collect as many undefended flags as possible. Of course none of us will ever have a flag left after the first few seconds. Why would we waste troops defending? And we have virtually nil chance of taking our flag back. Not much balance there. lol
A safe zone should include Flag tourney and those in safe zones can battle it out between themselves.
Then again, I guess without our undefended flags, there wont be much point to the tourney then, will there? But, I am sure there are other more "competitive" targets. No?
